Amazing place. BUT be early, by early I mean no later than 7 am in weekdays. Its super popular spot. I was there early in the morning and all pool was mine. There are plenty of parking spot but its not enough for all people coming there.

Wow! Mind blowing, one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. Incredible deep blue water (make sure light conditions are right or adjust your expectations). It's a 50min medium pace easy hike, bring some water as you might need if it's hot (no you are not gonna die if you make both ways without water, AND food lol). Definitely, a must visit place, should be officially one of Oregon's wonders. π

Easy/moderate hike up to the blue pool, well marked easy to follow. Lots of lava rock and muddy in spots so best to wear hiking boots if ya got 'em. Its kind of a scramble down to the pool, but don't have to you can just hike or picnic along the top. Great views, dog friendly! So so blue and so so cold!

Itβs actually not that blue.π₯² Better visit in the morning. When thereβs no sunshine, itβs not as impressive as the pictures. But itβs a relaxing trail that is full of shades. We visited in winter, so itβs hard to walk especially really slippery!

Oregon has an Abundance of wild life, Cougars Bears and so on. And FYI .. Moose an Grizzlys live in our Neighbouring States. Idaho , Montana an I even Belive in Washington. .. Take Your Gun if you'd Like.
Oregon is an open carry state. Bring whatever makes you feel comfortable
Yes you can swim was there a couple weeks ago. My son and I both jumped off multiple cliff ledges and the water is 38Β° year round. If you go definitely take full advantage of the experience and go swimming.
Yes. Its beautiful right now! There is snow though but you can see the trail. Lots of people still going. We just went last weekend. Bring good boots for snow!
Early morning when foot traffic is low.
Felt like 4 miles Lots of uneven ground i have tons of pictures of the trail just click my name and go to photos i hope this helps
Any time of year is beautiful. There is HEAVY use in the summer, personally I like week days in the spring and fall because there is fewer people. Be advised no time of year is a good time to swim in it. The water wells up from deep under ground and is extreme cold. Not to be grave but people have died jumping in.
When we went last weekend there were multiple people camped along the trail. I did not see anything saying you can't.
