Rented a mountain bike from Horse Creek for the first time back in 2019 and we've been back every year since! Bikes are super well maintained and ride perfectly. We also camped there one year and the facilities were fantastic, who doesn't love a hot outdoor shower after a day on the trails? Alyssa and Gary are phenomenal people and will go above and beyond to help with whatever you need! Highly recommend checking out Horse Creek Lodge when you're in the McKenzie River area.

The setting is gorgeous - it's an easy walk to the river. The cabins are clean and well-stocked with dishes, cookware and coffee. Great place to just be, or use as a base camp for hiking, biking, fishing or rafting. They also offer guiding services.

Amazing place to get away! Nestled in the forest with cute walking trails right on the property, staying at Horse Creek Lodge is a must when you visit the McKenzie River! Cozy beds, super clean, comfy cabins, cookware, coffee, tea all ready for you to enjoy. Oh and the owners are truly wonderful, kind, awesome humans, to boot!

Hello Anna, thanks for reaching out! We are not on the river; our property borders public National Forest land that Horse Creek runs through. You can hear the McKenzie River and Horse Creek from the cabins, but you can’t see them through all of the trees on our property. Let me know if there’s anything else I can do for you. - Alyssa
