Any time of year is beautiful. There is HEAVY use in the summer, personally I like week days in the spring and fall because there is fewer people. Be advised no time of year is a good time to swim in it. The water wells up from deep under ground and is extreme cold. Not to be grave but people have died jumping in.

I just went about 2 weeks ago and the Falls were running heavy and to be honest I thought little Crater Lake was more spectacular than blue pool

Mid spring is the best time in my opinion. The falls are flowing, the path is dry except in a few little spots. We were just there over Memorial Day weekend and it was perfect!

Tamolitch Falls are only occasionally there during/after heavy rains or snow melts. Most of the year the falls are nonexistent. A few weeks ago I did see posts of the falls. Blue Pool is what it is referred to in most references where there are no falls, which is beautiful in itself. The trail can be snow covered in the fall and winter. I have been many times and no falls.
