Oregon is an open carry state. Bring whatever makes you feel comfortable

Did that person seriously say the forest service would close the trail if that type of animal were there? Haha lmfao, it’s the forest, they can’t control what is there or have the knowledge of exactly what.

Sterling Van Doren | Jul 26, 2018

no need for a weapon

Justin Pattan | Jul 26, 2018

The forest service would close the trail if that type of wildlife were in the area. Best to check with the forest service on any regulations regarding firearms.

Yes you can. I do all the time. Just have it visible if you don't have a concealed carry license.

Yes,you shouldn't need it but i have in the past

You can open cary or conceal cary if your licensed. In my 48 years and several bear encounters I've never needed a firearm. But in this day and age if a person feels the need I say merica up! The most dangerous animals in Oregon have self awareness.
