Such a well run campground! Beautiful and lots of fun trails around the camp.

This is an excellent state park with great access to the Green River. There is a campground, restroom facilities, waterfront access. There many miles of dirt/grass/stone trail. Beautiful views of the Green River. Plenty of day use parking as well. Discover Pass required.

2022 Mar 01 TUE morning, i was at Kanaskat-Palmer State Park for a very leisurely paced ramble. Started Out: ~09:15 and Ended at: ~11:00 Intermittent light drizzle during my ~2 hours in the Park (not a problem cos i also brought along an umbrella 😂 ) (Gaia recorded) Distance: 3.2 mi / Total Time: 1:48 / Ascent 189 (-265) ft The Trails were in good walking condition, and seemed well-maintained. As expected, there were a few short muddy sections - easily passable. There's a minor obstacle - a short section where the River Trail was "underwater - passable though - and my feet didn't get wet cos i was wearing my Rubber Boots 😗 Also, the Restrooms were opened and very clean. Thank y'all Kanaskat-Palmer S.P. 👍👍👍 i was moving s-l-o-w-ly cos i was enjoying the sight and sounds of Green River, and the lovely woods. i hope those houses along the bank of Green River does fine 😔 During my ~2 hours in the Park, i only saw one other person - the Park Ranger. As such, i may be the only visitor to the Park .. which was nice .. my preferred sweet solitude 😊 Happy Trails Everyone 😇

A very wonderful State Park. The sheer work ethic that the park rangers/hosts have is astounding. Routine cleaning and road work, and they often check in on you with useful information. The trails are also very beautiful. Very scenic.

Not sure I understand, but dogs are allowed. However they need to be kept on leash.
Don't remember a playground per se, but the river and woods are super fun.
Yes and they're pretty nice! They took quarters, but were free when I was there last. I'd advise having a pocketful of quarters just in case
Unfortunately all they have is the extinct Narwhal in the beautiful river by Kanaskat Palmer State Park. And if you know animal biology the extinct Narwhal can hold its breath forever, so...... Unfortunately no one has ever seen one. Beautiful creature though.
They have a map online for what parts of the park allow it. https://parks.state.wa.us/DocumentCenter/View/8162/Kanaskat-Palmer-State-Park-Metal-Detecting-PDF
Yes. Depending on the site its somewhere between 20 and 30 per night. Nice place with clean bathrooms and an awesome area to the river and another great spot to play....not too far from deep.lake. this on of my go to campgrounds.
Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash. There is a day use area open during the day or you can camp.
Yes I think they do have a discount for disabilities
