We had a terrific experience! Darla was helpful, very nice, and patient with us (it was my husbands first time riding a horse). You can tell the horses are treated well and the trail was very nice. Added bonus, Darla takes great pictures! She even let us feed the horses some treats after the ride. Loki & Abu we’re fantastic 🐴 Highly recommend!

I had such a great time today. It was my first ever trail ride as an adult, and I wanted my first experience to be slow, easy, fun, and achievable. Well, Misty Acres came through, and so did Loki, my horse. I would definitely do this again. I highly recommend this company. The experience is very personable, and, oh, so much fun!

As someone who grew up with and around horses and helped teach lessons myself, I was wholly impressed by my 8 year old daughter’s first lesson today! Darla is attentive, communicative and passionate about her horses and programs. James led her lesson and the educational and developmentally appropriate approach of learning what it takes to ride a horse from catching and haltering, to grooming and tacking up, to caring for the horse after riding was so appreciated. The lesson itself was information dense in a way that had her learning and functioning so quickly, I was surprised at how much she could do by the end! My daughter will learn the value of bonding with these beautiful animals and the joy of working with and riding them. I feel so fortunate to have found this program and look forward to making many memories together!

I booked a ride for my daughter and her friend, this was going to be there first time on a horse. We were meet by James that was going to help the girls. From the first moment until we left he was absolutely amazing. I would recommend this place for everyone and specially family with young kids. The way he took he’s time to explain everything to the girls was great. James and buddy thank you for making my daughters first experience with horses amazing and even better this was her birthday celebration. Can’t wait to come back again soon. A happy mum and even happier daughter
