Nice trails with fantastic view of San mateo

Nice little Lake and Dam in the neighborhood. Mix of hikers, trail runners and mountain bikers. The lake is close to the entrance on a wide, easy path. Do mind the bees, so watch the kids and dogs when they check out a tree.

A great place for a walk. A little muddy in spots after the rain. Good for an easy 3 mile walk at a minimum.

* Pretty good easy hike in Belmont with a few climbs at the end. Wide fire roads, so it was easy to do with kids * Located just off of Ralston. Lots of mountain bikers * The "lake" was underwhelming * Start on Lake Road - Bear Left on Lake Road Trail - .8 mi make a sharp right down to the lake - left towards the far edge of thelake up to Water Dog Loop Trail - left onto Berry Trail - rightonto John Brooks Trail

also, city hall dog park, elm/san carlos blvd, is off leach but you should check their hours and closed days before going. nice park with trees, grass but kinda smallish.
Lyall Way and Lake Road, street parking only
If coming from 280/92.. exit Ralston...make a left..then a right on Hallmark dr...then make a left on the first street... that's another entrance.
About 15 min walk. Not a real park. Only a non swimming lake and hiking trails. Nothing else.
No, I'm sure it's not allowed and you wouldn't want to anyways as it's not clean
No fish that i know of... never seen anyone fishing here. It's an easy walk... say a quarter mile on a wide fireroad to the lake
Yes, sometimes you can see them on a rock. I've only seen them once, though. It appeared at around 2pm when I was running.
I decided not let my dog swim due to concerns about water quality , circulation, leptospirosis. However, All the dogs there have been swimming there for many years, with out problems, time for someone to do some research.
