Wonderful 55+ apartment complex with well maintained common areas, pool, small gym, card room, billard room, library, and theater 🎥 room for movie night.

Basically no visitor parking and annoying huge car-ruining bumps. 1 mile walk from the parking to the home. Exactly like a real life maze. Like literally, every single time I visit my grandmother, I ask myself, "Why the hell would anyone want to live HERE?! I wouldn't, even if it were free!"

Maintenance people are professional, courteous and they leave everything clean. 👍🏻 and thank you. My mom and I are very pleased

Great except there is a gate code to drive in but the external doors for each individual 3 story building THERE IS NO BUZZER!!! So when they lock the doors at five or 6pm? You're poor mom has to come down and let you in manually...and while those doors are key operated for residents?....they only give out one key for each unit...period

Rents have gone up since Ric's post. It's not a "retired single community" but a complex for "active adults 55+" (one lessee must be 55 or more) & many marrieds live there. Income restrictions apply: residents must meet federal moderate income standards. Rent includes NO utilities, & renter's insurance is mandatory. Common area costs, trash pick-up & such are charged back to residents per apartment size rather than usage. One parking space per unit is included in the rent. Pets are OK per the property's restrictions & there is an additional rent charge + deposit for each pet. There are community laundry rooms. No "services" are provided except building maintenance. This is not a retirement home, assisted living facility, or nursing home. Residents are presumed to be self-sufficient, physically and financially (although they are not kicked out if they live "too long;" but they must provide their own care-givers). If your expectations are mid-mid & you can afford the rent, it's not bad.
Average is. $ 1500 per. Month... Ex Roomate told .me
