This is a truly exceptional museum with amazing works of art. If you go on Sunday, the nearby parking is free. Also, the entrance fee is a voluntary donation. Plus, the staff make you feel very welcome and are happy to share their wealth of knowledge about the art, artists, and the museum.
Where's The Foul
Our family had a very relaxing, and beautiful experience here. The museum is as beautiful, and clean as it was when i visited as a child. There is so much beautiful art and architecture to look at. We came for a classical concert on a Sunday. Highly recommend if you are in Sacramento.

This museum is enormous and has an equally large and diverse collection on display. Every room is engaging, and you can tell the museum staff and curators pit in effort. Seriously worth a visit by anyone; even those not interested in art will find it rewarding.

COVID precautions require purchasing timed tickets. Sold at 15 minute entry intervals, I purchased mine right before I left my house. Beautiful expansion building is attached to the original Crocker mansion. Exhibits were well laid out and easy to navigate. Loved the bright open areas and the eclectic mix of Mexican, African and Asian art. Spent 3 hours here and easily could have made it a full day to take it all in. Gift shop is small but reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit!

Feb 3 is free museum day. Check with crocker one Sunday per month free too
It can take 2.50 hours if you want to see it all and learn the history but if you are short in time you can see it in a hour and half. I do highly recommend seeing the Leigh Stanford masion.
Once they lift COVID-19 procedures
Unfortunately, no
Free day for Crocker Art Museum is the 3rd Sunday of every month. Its free but they accept donations....anything you give is good
Yes it has elevators and parkking
Art Services Group is a good place to start. The Crocker also has them once every few months to let people bring in items to be looked at and appraised.
They are open 10-5
If you're up for donating art you can set up a meeting with one of the curators, or maybe see if you can have some of your work in the art auction(s). Either way the best information would come from contacting the museum directly
The museum has multiple membership levels. For the Individual level $65 For Family level $85 You can find more information about each level online at Crockerart.org or asking in person between 10am and 5pm Wednesdays through Sunday
They ARE open Wednesdays. The times posted on the doors are up to date and the website has been updated as well
It is best to use the website for information. They require you make reservations.

I don't think so. Everything close enough to walk either has a meter, or is a parking lot with a place at the front to pay for the day
Not at this location
I don't believe so but I'm unsure.
You will have to call them and find out.
Not that i am aware of.
I'm not sure what ES is, but if it's a service dog they probably will.
Go to their website cause I don't know
It's not free to enter, but the prices should be on the web site.
The Crocker loves photography! With some exceptions, personal photography of artwork in the Museum’s permanent collection is allowed; however, flash, tripods, or video equipment is not permitted without permission from our Marketing Department. Due to the sensitive nature of the art, photography of works on paper is not permitted. Photography of special exhibits or loaned works of art is sometimes not allowed due to copyright restrictions. In those instances, posted signs will let you know that photography is not allowed. It is best to ask a security officer or visitors services representative at the admission desk about which works may be photographed. Professional photographers or those with professional equipment such as tripods, flash, and lights must receive approval prior to photography in or around the Crocker Art Museum, and must be accompanied by a member of the Museum staff.

No i dont think so
No, I don't believe so, however the archivists can point you to someone who can.
Free to the general public on the 3rd sunday of every month (Donations accepted)
Depends if your a student senior adult or child. Children 6 and under free children and student I think 10 and adult 15
There is a children's section on the first floor in the newer part of the museum. I did see some kids in a room painting although my belief is that's a class. There is a Hands-On area for the kids age range 3-8. It's a cool place to go although it will not hold a child's attention for a prolonged period of time. Nice park directly across from it.
Not sure call them and see
The tour guides are great and can answer all your questions
I think they have music Friday eves.
You need to contact the museum directly, as these questions are not answered by museum staff.
And
The Crocker is not listed as a participant in the online flyer for Sacramento Museum Day 2018.
Most likely not at the museum. Perhaps you can try an auction house to get values.
The third Sunday of the month is "pay what you want" day and you can go in for free.
No..but they have pay what you wish Sunday...every 3rd Sunday if the month. Also kids 6 and under free every Sunday.
Don't know!
I believe there are only restrictions on flash photography near the art.
