This is the WORST emergency department to go to. This place needs ZERO stars.. Do not go here.Stood in line JUST to check in over 45 minutes. People with life threating symptoms standing in line for over 45 minutes. A man literally past out in line from waiting so long. People crying out in pain.. Waited over 6 hours for my daughter to be seen. Mind you she had a high fever. This has turned into a county hospital. Wait time is ridiculous. Will never come back to this kaiser again.

Ok so this ER. it took a very long long time to get a room and get checked by a doctor. I waited more than 5 hours! Which was hard I was very uncomfortable in my own pain. But I saw other sick children waiting and it helped me be patient. I understand others might need more attention than me. There was a lot of people that day. Once I got called in to a room. The nurse was very nice. Doctor George Scott mittendorf was such a nice guy! He was so sweet. explained everything and was very professional. Never made me feel like I was annoying him like I’ve felt in the past at other hospitals. He listened to me and my concerns. I didn’t like the long wait but it was worth it. I left feeling better. Kaiser is great! They have a good system going on. Every time I call the operator has a polite attitude and willing to help me with anything! They’re not perfect but Kaiser is better than any other hospital or clinics I have ever been to.

Extreme

Kaiser try’s to pride its self on peoples physical health and mental health wellbeing. But that doesn’t seem to be the case now. My wife is expecting, and Kaiser seems to make fathers feel unneeded. Any new dads wanting to feel like they not be involved should look no further as kaiser will not let any dads visit the OB or ultrasound visit. My wife also suffers from high anxiety so usually I stay with her during the visits because sometimes she might not catch it all or help understanding. So as my wife gets to see our new little one on the ultrasound, listen to the heart beat while I get to sit in the waiting room while any of my concerns go answered or my wife who is struggling gets to do it all on her own. They claim its all because of covid, but if she has it then I will get it as well and vise versa. If I would have known Kaiser is like this I would have chosen another health care company other than Kaiser

They transferred my mom to Edgewater Nursing Facility and she was only there for 20 days and she came home with pneumonia and a blood clot in her leg after her visit to Edgewater she hasn't been the same was released with a blooody rash and bed sores on her behind stage 3 and can't walk anymore. Shame on you Kaiser for sending your faithful insurance carriers to such a place you should be involved in following up with your patients and you don't. I feel like Kaiser is a revolving door for their patients so sad.
