My family has known the founder of Wolf Mountain Nature Center years before he began the center. He has always cared deeply for nature and animals and this center is a reflection of that. He has the utmost respect for the animals, and does everything in his power to ensure they are as comfortable as possible and the public is educated on them. Enormous spacious enclosures ensure the animals have plenty of space to roam and hide, so while you may not get a glimpse of every animal every time you visit, when you do they are exceedingly happy and in a natural state, in contrast to many zoos which have extremely small enclosures and you can tell the animals are stressed. The volunteers are extremely knowledgeable and happy to answer whatever questions you may have about the animals. Do note that you can't use Credit Cards - cash or check only!

Staff were great, my 6 year old loved the wolves. Gift shop prices were reasonable. 100% off grid, bring cash or check.

What an amazing place, I hope more people will visit and learn about how important and vital wolves are to the animal world. I can not say enough about how friendly and intelligent the entire team here is. Thank you for all of your hard work

We cannot say enough amazing things about this place. My husband and I visited yesterday and got the awesome experience to go into the Arctic Fox enclosure and get some up close photos. There is nothing bad I can say about this place. The staff/volunteers are all amazing and super friendly. The owner is an awesome guy. We absolutely enjoyed our time there and highly recommend visiting! If you visit in the winter, you will need good boots and ice spikes are helpful as well. I definitely recommend this place 100%! If you wish to do a photography experience like we did, check them out online because for that you need to pre book.
