Beautiful trails

Beautiful landscape! I rode through there on a 50 year old motorcycle so it was slow going but if you’re not the one at the handlebars you can look around and enjoy the view.

Amazing views. Stop and take a photo shot of the always welcoming "barn" while traffic zooms by

Just opened to the public last November 2017. Lower La Honda Creek is a historic working cattle grazing land. Picturesque and peaceful. Hardly anyone was around. Open rolling hills and grassland. We were lucky to be there on a cool, foggy morning, which made it easy for my husband and I to hike 8.8 miles of it. ENJOY.

I checked out the trail guide online and it seems like it does allow dogs
No. Dogs are only allowed in upper La Honda Creek Preserve which requires a permit for access and parking.
Permit for? Are you referring to the state park pass?
A permit is still required for the upper part of the preserve, but not for the new lower part. The two parts are not connected
