Patience is key at this location. It’s a bit under staffed, but a huge shout out to Melissa the rental agent who maintained a positive and energetic attitude to ensure that everything went smoothly for everyone that was at the location during pick up and again at drop off! She’s a Rockstar!

I wanted to write this review for Melisa Newlin. Melisa was so kind during the rental process. She was extremely busy while we were there to rent a car, but she was so kind throughout the entire process even though she was by herself. She managed the entire process professionally and with a smile as she had to check us in and clean the inside and outside of the car herself bc they were short staffed. I told her she didn't have to clean the car we were renting but she made sure the car was in excellent condition before we drove it off the lot. Thank you for your grace and positive attitude even though you were in a not ideal situation. We will definitely be back to this Hertz because of your amazing customer service.

The manager here is a NIGHTMARE!! There were 10 people waiting to pick up cars & she insisted on vaccuming & slowly wiping down one vehicle for over 30 minutes!!! We had been waiting over an hour (mind you, we had an appointment to pick up our vehicle)and asked if we could just take our vehicle as is. She said “No! All vehicles must be cleaned before we release them”. We offered to clean the vehicle ourselves, and she still refused to give us our car. We missed our reservations we had for a tour because of her ridiculous policies!!! Her staff was extremely nice & the young black girl who worked there (her name was Cherry Freeman?) should be the manager!!! She went out of her way to help all of the people who were stranded without a vehicle because the manager refused to release any vehicles without them being cleaned first. This blonde, white woman is NOT manager material & does not understand the concept of good customer service. Hertz needs to get rid of her!!!!

My 3-Star review is not about this location. It is about the customer service I got when calling the 800 number. They were rude and ended up charging me over $100 in late fees. Not the fault of this location and that’s why I gave 3 stars when overall I would give Hertz a ZERO star rating if I could. Rosie is awesome here as this location and very helpful. If you can, bypass the corporate number and rent directly from this place.

Depends on the vehicle class being rented but yes as long as Mexico insurance is purchased
No, it is Hertz policy to not do this because of how the airport location is regulated. Each rental car company that operates an official location at the Rental Car center has to pay hefty fees to the airport, which get passed on to the customer if you chose to rent from that location. If you rented from Laurel street and got a free shuttle, it would be bad for business. It's about 3/4 of a mile walk from the rental car shuttle if you did want to walk to the location on Laurel street, but I would advise you to consider just renting from the airport instead.
You receive it when you arrive to pick up your rental. All of the information about your rental comes up in their system.
Take the shuttle to the rental center.
