Extremely disappointed by the service here. Be aware they can just throw out your reservation. My flight was delayed approx 30 minutes. Upon landing, I phoned them to say I'd be late. I would have arrived around 5pm and they close at 530pm. The rep on the phone said I missed my time and there's nothing they can do. gg

this is the worst service I have ever received. as my husband is a former employee who always recommended enterprise to everyone. He took pride in saying enterprise provided the best customer service in the industry. After making them millions of dollars, getting other people hired and alwaysspeaking extremely highly of enterprise and recommending them to everyone, we were tested terribly, given a ton of attitude, this location decided to not rent us vehicles anymore and would not say why. I would recommend literally any other rental car company over this enterprise location. They have gone so downhill and provided the absolute worst customer service. they forced a $20 upswell after they did not have the car we ordered. The car’s ac didn’t work, It had a check engine light and smelled like smoke. This was the worst experience ever.

Great and friendly service. Very nice facility. Only suggestion... put a sign where the shuttle bus driver, drops off passengers from airport,(on both ends of driveway) that says. Floor 1 check in to provider Floor 2 pick up car. Then car renters will know where to go after exiting bus for pick up. This would be good if first time using rental car services at San Diego airport. And maybe the shuttle drive could mention to check in at first floor, then go upstairs for pick up. Thanks!

Usually you can. They tend to charge an extra fee if you don't return the car to the same location which you rented it from.

My recent experience (Christmas week 2018) with this Enterprise is that they will NOT pick you up or take you back to San Diego Int'l Airport because of some legal agreement with the airport in regards to the new rental center built in the past 2-3 years. Was told I had to get a taxi/Lyft/Uber to get to the location. I had a friend pick us up instead. While it was not wildly inconvenient, it was a bit awkward. Otherwise, it would be a 5 out of 5 experience. The motto "We will pick you up" doesn't hold true to this particular franchise of Enterprise. (Incidentally, when you call their number, the first thing said is that very motto!)

The budget at modesto airport has a drop box. The parking lot looks sketchy but we had no problems with dropping off after hours.
