I’m getting suspicious that I’m being ripped off! I hope to change this review tomorrow, but I’ve tried to return the car earlier and no one was here for over an hour. And when I kept calling to confirm someone showing up they stopped answering my calls. Now I tried to return it again and they posted a new sign saying that they will not give me my cash deposit back as cash and will mail me my money. So I was told to return in the morning, yet again, to discuss with someone at that point my receiving my cash deposit back. Between the experience that I’m having, and a neighbor of theirs telling me “good luck with that“ I am really not sure that this will be resolved properly. ***update 3/2022: They deposit was never returned.

SCAM ALERT! If you care about your money, stay away from this business. I don’t know how this business is still running. They’re thieves with papers. 2 months later and we didn’t see the deposit back. Shady practice, communicating via text messages, they don’t answer their phone etc. We opened a dispute with the bank. Oh and the car?!! Don’t even get me started. Plus - the cherry on top - super rude staff!

Every bad review about this place is completely accurate. They'll tell you you'll get your deposit in 5-7 days, it will never come, you'll call and they'll answer a few times, then block your number, or just not answer at all, or hang up on you. The best recourse is to contact your credit card company and give them everything you have on this place. Process a charge back and make sure you have all your documentation and any other proof you can provide. My ccard company couldn't accept the video of me returning the car to them but they did accept a transcript of it. Make sure you keep checking your account, they'll keep trying to get money out of you. If you end up here, by all means file a complaint with the California state consumer protection agency and the Federal Trade Commission so they can be shut down.

THIS PLACE DESERVES A ZERO FOR A STAR RATING!!!!!!!!!!! I'm currently in a different country and I got a "card charged by merchant" transaction for $235! The thing is I rented their TERRIBLE 1999 Grand Marquis in AUGUST! It's October 20th now! What make matters worst I already have a bone to pick with them because I NEVER received my deposit back when I returned the rental early August! I tried contacting them using my same phone number AND a different number using my skype! When I get back to San Diego "F" a lawyer I'm going straight to the police!!!!!!!! "F" THIS PLACE!!!! SERIOUSLY!!!!!
