The park was nice and well maintained. Restrooms were open. The basketball court was in good shape. Had pavilions and a walking trail. Plenty of parking.

So disappointing. Lots of potential but between the homeless, teen groups and unkept grounds we left quickly. Felt unsafe.

Master plan park still in development. Great open spaces, close to downtown, clean, with walking trail along the Duck River. Make sure to visit on Saturday mornings for the farmers market in the main pavilion. As of 2019, there is a fitness park with body weight equipment. There are a dozen or so stations most of which have at least two uses, specifically wheelchair accessible variations of the exercise. Great addition!

Beautiful park. We had a softball reunion for those of us that played in Riverside. This shelter was as close as we could get to where the old fields once sat. Good weather, beautiful park and wonderful memories

I really don't know. it has a circular park on the outside but there is a space where you can walk through and end up on the other side of the street around that area. you can walk the whole area over there and come back around to the other side of the park.The park is located by a school.
My walking buddy and I used a pedometer. Our route included power plant to school. I'd say it is about 1.5 miles.
The last time I was there was in 2018 - at that time you could. The Duck River is a very popular place to fish along almost all of its flow.
