Today in the morning as we were looking for my husband's correct building for the surgery, there was an african american lady at the front desk who dissed us and made rude and gang comments about us for no reason whatsoever. This is very sad. Kaiser needs to employ kind and non racist employees, who won't give Kaiser a bad name.

Don't get into a car accident and come here. You'll get a medical lien 7 months later. Y'all need to get your house in order and get people bills on time. This is ridiculous and can seriously mess up someone's credit. You have our address and phone numbers. How hard is it to send things out within 30 even 60 days? But 7 whole months? Y'all are terrible and in the future I'll just die on the curb instead of coming in. Thanks, kaiser. Thank you so, oh so much.

My husband had surgery here recently and we were very pleased with the excellent medical/nursing care he received, as well as the ancillary services. Everyone was kind, caring and professional. It seems like a very well run organization. Also is an attractive building.

On August 22, 2017 at 21:45 hrs while having a heart attack, I was treated so poorly it defies all sense of humanity. Once in admin I was laying on the floor after giving my insurance and ID information. A large woman with very short hair came out in a very HOSTILE voice said “ what are you down there , I can’t help you down there and grab your backpack” I’ll never forget those words! The bean counters have close the Cath Lab at 9pm so EVEN AFTER I called to tell them I was coming in with a HEART issue they had to ship me over the Presbyterian to do the procedure, they wasted 45 critical minutes ! Two days later while still in the hospital they took a small chunk out of my stomach I can only assume to do a drug test- that’s what they’re all about not treating people with care FYI - I found the staff at Presbyterian to be much kinder I remember like it was Yesterday, I want the Admitting nurse , who came to the waiting room & did the first EKG - TERMINATED ! She doesn’t belong in healthcare industry, she is far better suited to be working in a woman’s prison !

For privacid they don't provide information about the patient
What is the number to call to get access to a patient's room in the hospital?
Ask your technician at the time of your MRI. It varies with the type of MRI but in my experience my Doc got back to me as quickly as two days later for a neck MRI. I ~think~ they say to allow up to two weeks in general cases of MRI scans for non-urgent cases.
Yes but only during certain hours of operation. You should probably contact them directly for more information.
They have a member's services office located in the ground floor at 1505 N. Edgemont. That is probably what you are looking for.
It depends upon which building you are at. One, attached to the hospital, is open 24 hours. The rest are different depending upon the building.
Sorry I didn't see your message. When we were admitted they took our cell number and let us know what was going on. We were an outpatient.
Yes there is a cafeteria. You can access from the 2nd floor of the hospital.
Yes. Minimum of 6 to 8 hours, pending on the severity of symptoms... However long your stay, Kaiser doctors are #trustworthy #professional & #thorough... You will leave with satisfied answers or recommendations to discuss with your primary care provider
It is the best hospital. maybe you should change the doctors. (Best hospital-change dr.)
There is a gift shop in the entrance area between the pharmacy and the main lobby, but it only has limited hours
Is a hotel in Vermont and Lexington is Hollywood hotel ..some in sunset Blvd close to wester.and more en wester and Haroldway..this far from the hospital
You have to go to member service at the old Kaiser Hospital in Bellflower to obtain all your paperwork
You can go to any nurses' clinic (4950 Sunset at that facility), and they'll take your blood pressure. There are nurses' clinics at each of the satellite local facilities.
Depends on the unit and the acuity of the patient. A woman in labor can have 2 guests and once the baby is born, only 1 guest plus parents.
Member services
My suggestion is call the front desk and speak with them and ask since today the no visiting policy is in effect again.
Go to kp.org then go under CAREER..good luck
Which Kaiser location are you delivering at? The labor and delivery units all have their own clinics for your prenatal appointments. Your OB will also have email at kp.org. go onto the website and look under Find A Doctor.
4950 sunset 1st floor
Yes, you can wait in the waiting room. My wife had major cancer surgery there 2 weeks ago and my stepdaughter and I waited in the waiting room.
You can but there's a limit of 2 visitors per pt. and 1 can even spend the night
Most surgeries are done at kaiser Los Angeles.
They dont remove styes they will tell you warm compress or abx eye drops.
Don't know call the number on the back of your card
Only on certain days of the week if your loved one is critical or young
You can bring those items to the lobby and the security will send it to his room. I believe the hospital is not accepting visitors in right now except in some special cases
No they will not allow you to stay, unless she's a minor or a doctor approves your staying.
A doctor can be reached through Kaiser Permanente's regular phone numbers.
By getting a physician's email address? Hope this answers your question.
Go to the records department and fill out the forms for release of information. Take that CD of the images to UCLA.
It's the main appointment number. The office is in 4700 building.
For normal jobs it should but that's an hr question for your job.
I would try their cell phone first
Yeah sure. The parking lot is located at 1549 Edgemont St.
Hello Corey - please reach out to Member Services: 800-464-4000 or TTY 711 800-788-0616 (Spanish) 800-757-7585 (Chinese dialects) Open 7 days a week 24 hours a day Closed holidays
Kaiser Permanente is located in several counties. One of them is Los Angeles call 411 info for Los Angeles Medical Center Kaiser Permanente ; there's medical centers in several counties: San Diego County, Baldwin Park.. Orange County & several small clinics throughout San Bernardino.. West Covina (San Bernardino.) Fontana. Also outlying clinics in the Glendale area .. part of LA County. There are clinics as far as Bakersfield and Palmdale complete with most patient care needs incl. specialists. There is a 1-800 number you can call any Kaiser and they will give you the general number for all locations.
I believe there's call butan you can use contact Kaiser parking department.
There is an 800 number on your Kaiser card; you can establish a primary care physician closest to you and you can reach advice nurses to determine if care is urgent or possibly emergent. As noted above.. there is an Urgent Care at 4700 Sunset. Ground Fl. (cross Vermont)
1-15 mins free, 16-30 mins $3, 31-60 mins $6, 61-90 mins $9, 91 mins to 24hrs $14, daily max is $14
No guest house. You can visit patients 24 hours a day.
Get the #measles one if you can due to the #pandemic
Hospital was parking structure, entrance at Sunset Blvd.
The rule of thumb is 8 p.m. to give the patient's time to sleep but I have seen them stay later from time to time
4867 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, California 90027
Customer services is the best thing that I recommend because they send your call to the right department
I advise calling because they always differ and with the higher level of treatment involved with ICU, you might want to find out if the patient has an MRI or physical therapy exam or whatever treatment. You'll save on parking. :)
It means that they are no longer in critical condition. However, are being watched closely.
Depends on their diet restrictions or dietary need. However Kaiser has a pretty normal or standard menu for patients
Opened June 16, 1953. Source: https://kaiserpermanentehistory.org/tag/sunset-boulevard/
On the street but you have to read the signs The parking in Kaiser is not free.
No. I'm sorry. This hospital and clinics are for members only.. with the exception of emergency cases..life threatening ..emergent cannot be turned away by any facility. You will be transferred to local Non member clinic or hospital once stabilized medically. I hope this helps you. You can join Kaiser paying month to month premium. The younger you are the lower the cost..naturally. Enrollment is usually open to public and companies.
There are none. You can visit your loved ones any tine of the day, 24 hours
I'm just not sure, however every Dept I've been in does have their own hematology group
Yes there is. You don't even need a referral. Just call Kaiser's appt center and tell them what you want.
They no longer have rules about visiting hours. You are welcome to go anytime.
No comment at this time.
There is a pediatric department at 4700 Sunset. You can also see family practice doctors at the clinics in such places as Pasadena or Glendale.
No sorry they only have waiting room .if he stay 1 night you have comfortable small bed
They are adults and kids..
Just check in at the visitor's desk at the entrance to the ER check-in. Unless a patient has specified no visitors, you can visit someone in the ER itself, assuming they aren't off getting tests done.
You've posted your question on Google Maps, not on a Kaiser website. You should contact Kaiser Permanente directly with your question or connect with them via their website or on their official social media accounts.
All
If you were born in Los Angeles County you can get a duplicate from the Los Angeles Hall of Records. Office is located in the City of Norwalk. Check website or call.
yes 24 hours
They have several. There is a 24 hour on the second floor of the hospital. There are also ones in the 2nd floor of 1505 Edgemont (That's a small one), 4950 Sunset, 4900 Sunset, 4700 Sunset, and the building on the corner of Vermont and Sunset that opens on Vermont (2nd floor for that one too).
Depends on their room. Call the operator for the location and ask to be transferred to the patient's room # and dept.
It should be in OB GYN. That's at 4900 Sunset on several floors. But you'll need an appointment, so the person making the appointment will tell you exactly where to go.
The urgent care is open every day from 8am to 9pm It's at 4700 Sunset now. ER is open 24/7.
If I remember correctly it is from 8 in the morning till 9 at night but it would be wise to call and verify
I'm not 100% sure what you mean, but you can select whomever you want for your primary doctor and for your children's primary. Some family practice doctors will treat both adults and children, so you can get a doctor in common that way if you prefer. Or there are ones who are specifically pediatricians. And women can have gynecologists as their primary. Plus, adults can go to family practice or get an internist. Hope this helps!
Go in to the members services office in the ground floor of 1505 N Edgemont. I'm sure they'll need your signature, so it's better to go in person than call.
1st floor
Travelodge is closest
Yes, pharmacy in the main hospital is 24/7.
There are different labs in different buildings. So you'd need to check the specific building's lab.
