Plenty of parking, lots of sheltered picnic tables, a sizable play area for children, a boat dock on the lake, good fishing spots, and a few nearby nature trails. You can usually get some decent sunset photos as well.

Fantastic park with a terrific playscape with shade canopies over the play structures. There are lots of swings along an overlook on the river. It's also a great place to paddle board and kayak. There's a rental place onsite or you can bring your own. If you bring your own, there's a little bit of a walk to the water entry point.

Been here many times now. We usually grill at the pavilion. It seems a bit difficult sometimes to work out a reservation (it's either booked well in advance) or sometimes it's first come first serve, like it was on 4th of July last year. We came out for Memorial day bright and early to save a spot because when I called Sandy Springs they told me it was first come first serve. But a lady came with a party and was trying to get me to move but I was already there 2 hours before to save our spots, working on the information I was given. According to her, she already paid. But according to Sandy Spring on the phone and the Park worker that opened the gate, it was first come first serve. At any rate, if you want to use the pavilion, plan WAY in advance. It is a beautiful park and there is kayak rental and walking trails.

Very nicely maintained park. Entry is completely free. Perfect for kids to play. Plenty of swings and benches installed also. It is also a place where one can go Kayaking. The overlook trails are also good. Located right in the middle of nature. Looks marvellous especially during the fall season. They have ample parking place Would surely recommend visiting this place.

Hey Lazaro, I actually work with the Paddle Shack at Morgan Falls. We do rentals from 10:00am until 5:00pm (Open until 6:00, but last rentals go out at 5:00) Thursday thru Sunday. You're more than welcome to bring your own kayaks, paddle boards, or any other flotation transportation at any time the park is open. The dock is always available to independent paddlers even when we are renting! Happy paddling, and if you see us out there come say hi!
Yes, just make sure you have a fishing license, park ranger drives around sometimes. You can get your fishing license at Walmart
Possibly🤔
On the playground, there are monkey bars. You can use those! It may not be the best view of the river, yet gets the job done!
You certainly could as long as you have your own shuttle back. There is no outfitter that will pickup or drop off there. There's a boat ramp below the dam so easy enough to get in and out.
Any kind of covering is fine, you can't use stakes and need up the grass though. Pavilion is usually rented out and they have priority.
