We had a family reunion here and everyone had a blast we all just wish they had fans under the shelter that would of made everything so much better and we even went to the other side to swim. I wish there was a large shelter where the water is. If they did then inwould highly recommend going. But being so far from the water and having no fans made it more miserable then happy

So peaceful and quiet. Just a really nice getaway. Didn't get any pictures of the beach area but the kids loved it

We camped here for a long weekend a few weeks ago when we went to see the Tour of Destruction at Anderson Motor Speedway. The park was clean, the campsite was paved with gravel in the patio and fire ring areas. Bathrooms were clean. Showers were decently sized and had joining dressing area. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.
Exhausted Trying
The sites are a little tight, but our lakefront view was beautiful. Tent sites were very nice and tucked away. I don't recall seeing a host, but the facilities were well kept. None of the hand dryers in the 2 bathrooms I visited worked. Probably won't return simply because we're at a point where we prefer full hookups.

There are tent sites and they are around 15 to 18 dollars
Once you go into the state park you will see a sign to the boat ramp on the left. Follow it, youll go by the boat ramp and up the hill, there will be a park and a picnic-swim area you can play at.
Are you serious? It's outside, of course there's snakes as in any other outdoor area.

No not from the park you cannot but there are several Marina is very very close that you can rent boats from
I dunno cos we were in the camping section. I'd love to know about the cabin rentals however.
