Stopped in for lunch... Some of the best BBQ we've had outside of Texas.. It's rare to find a place that does a good char, and this place has great char. We tried the pork rolls, fried okra, brisket, ribs, and slaw. Everything was great, but the ribs were our favorite. Love how the slaw was not sweet. Good sauces on the table (not just the vinegar stuff). They serve beer and cheap wine. Service was very slow for the place not being busy... They definitely need to train their staff a little better. Great patio.

Friendly staff. We tried their brisket and pulled pork. The taste was outstanding and well done (smoked/cooked) for BBQ sauce users, which is 99% of people. The brisket was a little lean and dry for my desire as I cannot have BBQ sauce and prefer higher fat on my meal than most people (nothing to hold against them, that's why I gave them 5 stars). Our party reported that their baked beans were exquisite. Will visit them for sure if in the area.

Forget the BBQ.... The real stars of this place are the sides. They read like normal sides - baked beans, corn bread, etc. But the unique flavors they encompass demand that you eat more. You'll soon forget that you have BBQ to attend to. Do take the advice of other reviewers and get the BBQ eggrolls. Yeah - you read that right - BBQ eggrolls. They're just like they sound, and taste WAY better than you think. Pro Tip: If you have to wait for a table, keep an eye on the fridge that makes home to the dessert and when it's time to order, get the cheesecake order in so you're sure to get it. You don't wanna miss the chocolate raspberry cheese cake. The BBQ was cooked so well. The seasoning was so delightful and the ribs were the right amount of messy. And boy oh boy did they just fall off the bone - so good. The staff were exceptional - even during a busy Friday night. Everyone was keeping their cool while still being attentive, helpful and friendly. If you've never visited, I'd highly recommend it. The Spotted Pig is delish!

Portions were a little small for the price & as hungry as I was, but the taste made up for it!! The brisket was fall-apart tender & juicy & the macaroni & cheese had a weirdly great smokey taste. I liked the little cornbread muffin, but the sweet potato soufflé wasn't my favorite, but still good. Our waitress was really sweet, helpful & attentive. Cozy little hole-in-the-wall with country decor that I will definitely return to if I'm ever in the area again. Highly recommend 👍
