After a few years I finally returned to this campground and found it under new management. The new manager, Beth is awesome! She has the facilities and grounds looking great! We will definitely be returning.

This was my family’s first camping trip and I’m glad we spent here. We stayed in campsite 33. It was an amazing experience all around. This campsite was very well-maintained, the restrooms were clean and the Campsite Manager Beth was awesome! we will definitely be coming back.

My wife and I recently discovered Laguna Campground, and boy, are we ever glad we did. The place is clean, quiet, and very well run. We suspect it's because of your campground manager, Beth, and campground host, Meredith (and their assistants, Bailey and Buddy). We have camped all up and down the west coast, in Washington, Oregon, and in California, and we have to say the staff here at Laguna are among the best we've experienced in all our camping travels. Thank you Beth and Meredith for helping to make our stay enjoyable, relaxing, and safe.

Great campground located in the Cleveland national forest around 5700 feet. Campground has numerous loops for camping any where from tents to RV and trailers. We have a 35’ bumper pull and not all sites or loops are easy to get into. When the updated the campground they have add 8x8 posts every 4 feet the entire length of the campground. These post make it very difficult to navigate with out extensive damage that could occur to your rig GET RID OF THE POSTS . Lots of mountain biking and hiking to be had in the area.

No, but you have Cuyamaca, it's about 25 minutes north of laguna. Yes, there is fishing in Cuyamaca
I was charged $10 for 20 mins of day use (for a unreserved campsite) kicked out of the park for being in that unreserved campsite bc they said it’s against the rules, however this rule is not stated on the board at the entrance. They also made fun of me bc I asked for the rules in writing since it wasn’t posted. The manager Joe literally laughed at that question and as I was walking away start talking smack about me to another camper! My point the rules that are not stated are being enforced so look out. A similar thing happened to my Mom too but she got a ticket.
I just got back from the campground and one site was closed but every other was open and half empty i would just go because they had plenty...
We camped there two weeks ago. We paid the 10 dollars directly to the ranger for our 3rd car. Our spot was wide and long enough to park cars side by side and staggered enough to have clear access to car doors. We had 2 SUV's and a Chevy Silverado truck.
You are allowed to have fires In the pits only. The campground generally has bundles for sale. $7 each!
In some places you might be able to get 1-2 bars. But other than that, no reception.
You can either reserve online at recreation.gov or you can pay for a first come first serve site at the entrance to the campground
As of a couple days ago, No. Keep checking. Hopefully this will end soon.
As of last weekend 10/18 all open fires were banned.
The Cleveland National Forest is closed until Sept. 30. That includes campgrounds.
Check in at 2pm. Check out 1pm
Planned to be closed through Sept. 14 .....but will be evaluated daily.
No I see some cars on side of road at night, may be you need buy a Forrest permit
They are still working on the restrooms in all the loops, but the main restroom and shower located in the center of the campgrounds is open.
Trails immediately around the campgrounds are relatively flat and easy. Beautiful views and lots of trees.
It depends . If you are asking about inside the camp grounds then no they are not. If you plan on hunting you will need to make sure yiu are not inside the recreational area.
$26 and totally worth it...
You may not but always good to bring them just in case. If it snows then yes
If you can pull off arriving Friday night, I'd recommend it. Otherwise, aim for 8a or 9a.
Not sure but check the national parks page
How many cars per campsite?
