Once inside..pleasant atmosphere-gentle entertainment (pleasant)..we had the savor menu good choices and the food was well prepared fresh out of the kitchen---service was good----a very nice restaurant with an interesting menu in an out of the way place--we will be back

Amore is one of the best Italian restaurants in Sarasota. Casual, intimate and a great piano bar with music. I am from Brooklyn, NY and have high standards in food, so I am happy to write this review of Amore.

Updating review to 4 stars. This place has improved food and service in the last few years. It's an excellent choice for Italian cuisine and some Portuguese dishes not to be found elsewhere in Sarasota. They moved from the downtown area, so the location could be improved. But, nice on the inside.
