This isn’t so much about the restaurant as the service we received. It was the worse service ever. Our server had an attitude as soon as we were seated. We placed our orders. Got one meal wrong. When meal was brought out we told them what was ordered. Server came to table and said I read the order back to you. Everyone at the table agreed on what was ordered. I decided to cancel my meal because by the time I would of gotten mine everyone else would be done. When I asked the server to cancel my meal, he threw the cheese grater down and stormed off. When we got our bills to pay he shorted one of the other couples $10 change and they called him out on it. (If you get RICH, as your server I’d request another one) The food that was served was good.

If you are visiting Florida,Sarasota. You need to Stop and Dine in at Cafe Barbosso. Best Italian Restaurant! Beautiful restaurant . Try the 10 layer eggplant,Short ribs, Octopus Salad and don’t forget to take to-go a Pepperoni pizza!

Awesome place. Super busy joint so get reservations early! Great food, Vibe and service. Order the eggplant!

On a busy Sunday night it took about an hour to get a party of 11 to get served dinner although the salads, appetizers and drinks were timely served. Although the server was attentive the Kitchen was backed up. The good news is the food was EXCELLENT and we all agreed the wait was well worth it. We also really enjoyed viewing the wall to wall art created by local artists. It was awesome. Better than going to a museum. In this labor shortage environment we decided to be understanding and went for the 5 star rating. Again food was excellent.
