Oh is this place funny. So when I was a senior in high school I used to wash dishes at Puccini’s. Every other comment I’ve read on here talks about the “homemade” pecan pie or that everything is “fresh”. It’s fresh…fresh from the Winn Dixie that used be where Detwiler’s is now. The pecan pie is literally just a frozen Marie Callender pie. Actually all the pies and cakes are just heated or thawed from the store and all those “homemade” pastas are all frozen and bought from the store as well. Other than the meats, mostly everything is just reheated from the store at this restaurant. You really think the one chef in the restaurant has time to cook for all these guests as well as bake pies and roll out homemade pasta as well? Every time I go back home I am surprised this place is still open and passes health inspections do to the lack of cleanliness in the restaurant and freezer

Great overall dining experience. The the salad, grouper with lobster ravioli, and cheesecake were all excellent. Service and atmosphere only enhanced the evening. Don't forget to bring your favorite bottle of wine. We'll be back soon!
