Great Italian food and Pizza in Sarasota. Casual dining great service. Nice thin crust pizza and Grandma pie is excellent. Good portion sizes.

We used to live in Sarasota and this pizzeria was our favorite! I'm quite picky about pizza since I grew up in NY, but Valentino more than meets my craving for a thin crust pizza! We were vacationing in Orlando and drove out just for some pizza after visiting Busch Gardens - and we were not disappointed! They still have the amazing garlic rolls and even though my Melanzana pizza was taken off the menu, they made it special for me! Can't say enough about the service and food!! Try the broccoli rabe - also good - as are their regular entrees!

Ordered a simple 2 item take out order. Sauteed Mushroom pizza had 8-9 sliced mushrooms - not sautéed and very skimpy. Calzone was 2/3 normal size compared to dine in. 20 minute drive there, 30 minute wait, stone cold food! $32.00 for worse than Pizza Hut! Very poor quality. Dine in is slammed, but better food. Take out - NEVER AGAIN.
