I have been trying to contact West Valley for almost a month now about getting a larger trash bin. For the first week and a half I kept getting placed on hold for about 30-45 mins every day, just to finally get through and instantly be sent to a voicemail. The voicemail states that they will return your call in one business day. THEY DO NOT EVER RETURN YOUR PHONE CALL! I FINALLY got through to someone over two weeks ago and was told my trashcan would be switched out that week or worst case the next week (yesterday). Well, shockingly it still has not been replaced. And now yet again I waited on hold for over 30 minutes, just to be sent to a voicemail that will never be returned. We just moved in and we continue to have too much trash for our small bin. I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with this company and how unresponsive and unprofessional they are. Meanwhile I'm still being charged as if they are doing their job. I would give a 0 star rating if I could.

Unprofessional exploitive company policies ! Driver made a mistake, and delivered the our debris box to the wrong address. Phone representative Venessa kept insisting that we have to pay for its relocation because they had "notes" stating that we requested this change. THE ADDRESS THEY LEFT THE BOX AT IS NOT OUR PROJECT. Venessa was rude and uncaring. Insisting we have to pay for their mistake. Our alternative ? wait for the manager to investigate, but only AFTER we pay for the relocation and for the two days that it takes for the manager to get back to us. If he does so at all. Why would he ? They already stole the money from us.. This company is a gross example of how a monopoly on business ruins service.

Our recycling bin was damaged and I called West Valley Collection & recycling. I was expecting to be on hold for 30 minutes and then not get any service at all. I was completely wrong! Lisa came on the phone right away. She was polite, articulate, professional and extremely knowledgeable! She walked me through exactly how West Valley would repair or replace my recycling bin. She gave me the details, dates options very slowly and clearly. The service man came today to replace my bin exactly how Lisa had described it. I got to say this is the best customer service I have ever received from any company. Way better than UNited airlines, marriott, AT&T or any of the big companies. Well done Lisa and Well done West Valley for hiring her!

Our waste collection technicians come through our neighborhood every Monday and take care of our refuse. With rare exception, they are here on Monday whether it is a holiday or not. They are efficient, they manipulate around vehicles and never damage them, and they ensure that even poorly packed trash is picked up. Our modest drivers will simply say that it's just their job. But what most don't know is that they are also trained in crime prevention. They are a keen set of eyes that travel through our neighborhood every week during the dark hours and have an opportunity to witness nefarious activities. They received training on how to be a good witness, how to make note of specific details, and to report these suspicious activities promptly. For this I have my greatest admiration because they keep my family safe. With gratitude I say thank you to these essential workers.

Last Thursday, 1/30/20, my regular collection day, I had packing styrofoam in my recycling can, they took it out and left it on the curb. How do I dispose of this? I am a handicap person! How can I get some help with it? Thank you, Nickie Kovac
