We’ve been here three times and have had a great experience each time! So much information, so many animals and even hands on experiences! It wasn’t until this last visit in May 2022 that I learned you can access this area for free through a separate entrance. How cool is that?!! Both times my kiddos enjoyed petting and brushing the goats! They are very friendly and safe around even small kids in our experiences there. You can also meet Hamlet the pig, a beautiful emu or two, turtles, birds and more! The area is absolutely beautiful! The walls inside and out line lots of interesting facts about the animals you see there. Tons of great photo opportunities! There is a Dino track outside the entrance that you just check out and a nature trail to the side where we ran into a few wild lizards. This area is right next to Fossil Rim’s gift shop which has an expansive array of items and very clean bathrooms. Off even further is their cafe I haven’t had a chance to eat at yet but hope to do so in the future.

A must do attraction near Dallas. Great with kids and family. A wildlife interactive safari with a variety of animals. The kids had a great time. Cafe food offerings include vegetarian options, that I was happy to see.

There are 2 ways to tour the place. You can join thr group tour or use your own car to get around the park. We did the self tour and enjoyed it very much, we took our time with the animals while taking photos and feeding them. It would be better to reserve online. We were given 2 big cups of food for the animals. We felt safe doing the self tour from the animals and from covid.

Very neat experience of driving through and getting to feed wildlife. Ostriches and emus look so prehistoric up close and the giraffes are so friendly. Try to save that feed for the second half of the ride if you can! They only give one cup per car for up to six people :( The small café was a good snack stop. The children's area left a little to be desired with only goats to be brushed and a few animals to look at but that's not really what we came for anyway~ the animals throughout the park are fat and very happy to come up for food so we had a good time.

Your own car, Adults $ 22. Children 3-11 years $ 16. Tour bus $ 40
They start herding the animals to their night time spots around 4 or 430. It takes about 2 to 3 hours to drive thru.
I would suggest taking the guided tours. It brings you places that private cars can't go. Plus the driver is so knowledgeable about all the animals and the center. My kids learned so much!
Just go! You'll see the visitor center, go there and grab your tickets.
We were there recently and porta potties is what they're going with for now. The restrooms are closed
