I would avoid living here at all costs. They lied to me about what room I was getting and then put me in a basement for the same price. They will try to wring more money out of you at every opportunity. They do not tell you that you will go in a basement and there is no transparency. Also once they changed me rent twice, and I couldn't buy groceries. SIGN ELSEWHERE.

They gave me only a two days notice before my new roommate moved in. I wasn't able to meet her first or really talk to her. We are very different people and the arrangement has been terrible for months now. I am a undergrad and they keep placing me with post graduate students.

I’ve been living at Carriage House for 3 years. The “free” internet is consistently awful. Maintenance requests take a very long time. When something goes wrong with the online portal (for rent payments, etc.) it’s up to residents to solve the problem for management. The units are close to campus, and they are better than most, despite the obviously rushed construction. Unfortunately, the convenience of these apartments barely outweighs the annoyance of failed expectations.

The apartments are big, new, and clean, but I've had lots of problems dealing with management. When I applied online for the apartment me and my roommate both requested on property parking spots, including putting both out licence plate numbers in. I also let them know I was bringing a pet, and after I submitted the application I emailed and left a voicemail asking when I should pay the pet deposit. However, when I arrived on move in day they still didn't realize I had a pet and I spent the day jumping through hoops trying to track down all the paperwork they wanted instead of moving in. They also hadn't given either of us a parking spot. The online rent pay is difficult to understand and there seems to be mistakes either charging too much or too little rent every month. I can barely afford the apartment and I can't pay extra fees because of administrative errors. You have to go to the leasing office to get anything done (which is off property) because they don't answer or return calls.
