I asked at least four times to speak to a Director or Manager as I had process questions, and other questions, from my Court assigned Guardian Ad Litem perspective. I made that fact clear each time. The front desk lady absolutely would not connect my call. Instead she asked me many, many questions. I clearly said I wanted to speak to management - nope. I actually drove 1/2 hour to the Group Home itself and spoke to the front desk person directly and STILL was not allowed to directly speak to management staff. There's more to complain about but that's enough for this purpose. I am worried if others, Social Workers, Case Managers and the like, experience the same obstructive behavior. The children under their care deserve someone greasing the way for helpers not obstructing their requests.
