scammers!!! beware!! Applied and got the apartment and every time we tried contacting them to view the apartment they would always say they will get back to us. We tried a couple days before move in date and still so hard to reach. on our actual move in date we tried to contact them all morning and they wouldn’t call us back and just said they will call when it’s ready. We never moved in and months later they sent my deposit back and i deposited it obviously and now they sent me to collections for getting my deposit back?? they also deleted several reviews saying the exact same thing

When I think of this place only one name comes to mind, Terence. He is AWESOME. Im moving from NYC and he made my leasing smooth and easy. He gave me a virtual tour of my new place and even gave me a list of places where I can park. Honestly, I was searching far and wide for a place to call home. I agreed to this place solely based off of him. Plus, the security factor is a MAJOR plus. 24hr security, secured entry and elevator access and package receiving. I can't wait to move.

Very happy with the location, security, cleanliness and especially very supportive & friendly staff. The apartment is located right in a busy part of DTLA with lots of restaurants, wine bars and clubs. The units facing Spring Street have a great view of the lively city. While the units on the back overlook a courtyard and you don't feel like you are in the city at all. There are pro and con to living in DTLA but for me I felt The Lofts at the Security Building provided an oasis to relax and feel at home. While allowing me to enjoy the many places to hang out in DTLA with an easily walk to Little Tokyo and the Arts District. I recently move to Asia for work but if I'm back in LA, I will move there again.

My boyfriend and I recently checked out this building for him to lease that I found with a vacancy. The building itself is an older one, with character. It has spacious loft units, nice windows which drew us to go look at it. When we got there to wait for an agent to show us the available unit, we sat and waited in the lobby. The building has a front desk associate who I believe also has a concierge sort position. When checking in to see the agent and waiting on the lobby this woman at the front desk was very short and rude, didn’t seem like she enjoyed working there at all. She didn’t introduce herself but I heard her over the phone say her name was Iris. When the agent finally came to get us the first impression I got of Iris left a bad taste in both my mine and my bf's mouth, putting a taint on the whole tour. Passing by other tenants in the hall the agent was nice to them but didn’t seem like it was genuine or interacts much with them, since nearly none of them said hi back and seemed miserable. I’m guessing it is because most of their interactions are with Iris at the front desk. The building is nice and I wish it had worked out, but the vibe that the people, and Iris were giving off was deterring and I urged my bf to go with another option, I’m glad he listened to my advice. Energy is everything with it comes to a place that you call home.
