This is one of my favorite places. I have enjoyed camping there, but for me it's a serene and easy place to communicate with nature. The nice thing for me is, it's only 30 minutes from home.

Nice drive to the park. Very cool autumn colors. Waterfall is amazing and is less than a 5 minute walk uphill to get to it from the campground entrance of the park. Lots of huge boulders that are fun for the kids to climb and even a dubbed "rock slide" that young kids can slide on (with a smooth surface so no surprises) in this park and at the campsites. Go get lost!

Quick visit to the Falls. Very clean. Easy walk to the falls. Not too busy. Bathroom available. Picnic tables, areas to cook meals, etc. Nice little park!

No places for boats but if you are into hiking/ back packing, wildlife viewing, and foriging( the berries are abundant) the creek is fishable if you can manage not getting snagged in the trees.but hunting in the park is not allowed.
