Solid park. The glacier potholes were interesting but pretty dirty. The river path had a section next to a busy road and a lot of parts had no view of the river. The bluffs path was pretty but quite challenging. There were probably 100 steps on that path alone. Also very buggy. The railroad path was really flat and boring. The park is worth checking out once.

It's a lovely little park, and a great place to launch from if you want to canoe or kayak on the St Croix River. The river has plenty of spots you can pull up on and stop for a picnic, all while enjoying the beautiful bluffs and forests lining the banks. Definitely bring sunscreen, and if you plan to spend any time at all up on shore, bring some bug spray. You don't really see them on the water, but they're everywhere on shore.

This is a great spot to stretch your legs and get some great pictures with the family.. their rock formations are excellent and their trails are easy to move on. Theirs also a section for rock climbing and repelling down though I'm not sure tho costs on that part of it..they let u go down and close to everything and theirs a fairy there also which takes u up an down the river next to it so u can see even more stuff.. me and my wife had a great time.. it's worth an HR to walk around and also restaurants n the area for lunch before hitting the interstate again to head home.. our first time going but definitely not our last when we r in the area again...

Yes, they have a building that you can purchase during office hours or fill out a form for them to process later
For sure! But there are not many sites and the campground fills up fast.
Yes, but you will need to buy a daily pass or an annual permit for State Parks.
Why not
Sheesh 😳 dk
I assume so yes. We were there last weekend. Quite busy. If you're looking to get canoes or kayak, I strongly suggest reservations.
