Worst service ever. People are extremely rude. They are useless and don’t want to help people. They try to complicate every single thing. I wish there is another way of getting things done without dealing with this place.

Very bad service!!!! Returned all my papers for missing a copy of Id, reason is they couldn't contact me while my phone number and address where on the same Express mail envelope they used to send me back my papers with a letter signed from the Councelor miss spelling my name. Ghada Elshawarby( not Elshorbagy)

I don't have anything bad to say about the service. Staff was helpful, kind, and they treated me with professionalism. Good people. The problem lies in the rigid rules that you cannot renew your ID by mail. You need to go there in person, that means I have to travel again from Nevada and struggle to get an affordable and reliable ride from and to the airport from the consulate. But, I had a good experience. They are understaffed. Another problem with the consulate, you cannot communicate by phone at all, but, they answer through Facebook Messenger. You can try that.

I do not write reviews, but this consulate made me wish I had different citizenship. They get paid to have fun in LA. Serving in this consulate considers a vacation for them. I wonder what they do the rest of the time if they only work a couple of hours a day. They might have another job. I will definitely report them.

What is the travel document, what it takes and how long it is, please respond
I don't have a background. But I still renewed the card from the month of 2 and I still received it today 08/17/2022. It is such a long time. They say 3 to 6 months old
Consulate clerk said it takes 4 to 6 months.

If you don't have vaccine card , you should present a negative PCR test with QR code in one of the authorized labs. The test shouldn't be more than 72 hours before the arrival
Certificate of birth yes, but I don't know about divorce.
California does issue a QR code for covid vaccination. Go to myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov
Generally, you do not. You can obtain one in the airport upon arrival. However, due to Covid-19 status, I would reach out to the consulate via phone (not always responsive), or through their Facebook page (more responsive). Hope this answer is helpful. N.b: You can also confirm with the airlines, they usually know. Good luck :)
To my knowledge ,I asked the same question when I was visiting the consulate three weeks ago and the answer was no scheduled visit yet and interior in egypt was asking if there is enough number of of citizen s to satisfy a trip
