I brought my husband to the Emergency Room to be seen. I was a little concerned since the reviews were iffy but had no choice, so we hoped for the best. On a Friday evening at 7pm, we didn't have to wait long. Maybe it's because his pain seemed urgent during his triage. We went through Registration with no issues and waited inside their tiny waiting room with about 5-7 other people. Dr. Betty Ahn was wonderful and so gentle and nice. When my husband got admitted to an ER bed, I was thankfully to be able to stay with him. All the nurses were great throughout our visit. It took about 3 hours for the whole process before he got admitted to an inpatient bed, which isn't bad. Dr. Daniel Marcus who did my husband's surgery and the care team (Angeline, RN and a few others I can't remember) were all really great. Thank you for taking care of my husband!

Overall, this hospital is "Okay", however the service is horrible! That conclusion comes from the bad service given by our Case Manager Mr. Grills, who did not care to look into my request, when asked to consider Torrance instead of Beverly Hills when my father needed to be transferred to another hospital. We are from out of town, and I mentioned to Mr. Grills that we have more relatives in the Torrance area where we could be closer to my father and have more family support during this stressful time. I asked if he could please look into that option, right away his bad attitude reflected through the phone but eventually he agreed. He would look into both Beverly Hills and Torrance, and he would call me back as soon as he had it all sorted out, well he never did, and I eventually called him for an update. He told me everything was ready to go for Beverly Hills, I asked what about Torrance and his response was "I decided not to pursue that route" literally no F's given! He left us no other choice. And to our luck Beverly Hills hospital has also been HORRIBLE! No quality of service whatsoever!

My urgent care dr sent me to the Emergency room, since Marina Del Rey was the closest, I agreed to come here. The waiting room is small, after coming in,a kind lady asked a the man doing registration to register me he said he had one lady ahead and pointed at a lady. Well he kept ignoring me, he kept registering other people who came in, when I told him that I was next not to forget get me, he went towards the door and a security guard approached me. I explained that I needed to be registered, he walked away. Another patient walked in and he begun to register her and ignored me. I walked out. Never again.

I was lucky enough to work with a PA by the name of Kate who was absolutely wonderful. It was my first time in an ER, so I knew there would be a wait (I came in with a pretty severe dog bite to the face) but they kept the ice packs coming. It was about a five hour process from start to finish, but they cleaned my wounds and also stitched me up, with constant updates about when I would be admitted into a room. It was also a really busy night for them so I understood that they have to see the more urgent emergencies first. Really lucky this hospital is around the corner from me!
