The office staff and security try to be helpful but sadly won’t remove the smoker. After bringing to their attention someone smoking pot they still won’t remove a pot smoker. It’s NOT a non smoking building, not worth the extra money and your lungs.

I’ve lived here almost a year and have loved it. I feel like I’m on vacation every day. The staff are amazing and other residents are very friendly. It feels like a community. My dog loves it too. Maintenance couldn’t be better. Any time I’ve had a problem I’ve just contacted them through the online system and it was fixed within a couple of hours. Finally the best part is the courtyard and safety. I can walk my dog any time day or night and I know we will be completely safe. The feeling of safety and community in invaluable.

Lived here for 1.5 years. Just renewed for another year because the experience is been so excellent. Few thoughts that I hope are helpful for people looking seriously: PROS: - the management team is super responsive. If any of the past reviews claim otherwise then they must not have been communicating clearly with what was happening or what they wanted the outcome to be. Getting a hold of anyone on the team is ridiculously easy and they care *because the entire staff lives at the complex* (they have to, it's part of their employment deal.). - maintenance is the best I've ever had. Imagine what you *wish* maintenance acted like at an apartment complex and that's the case here. Super easy to contact, super fast (almost always within hours), and they are all exceptionally adept at fixing the issues because the whole team has been here forever and seen the same 24 issues a million times. - amenities are every bit as good as advertised. The pool is under-utilized which is great for me and my three year old daughter who will happily use the pool 200 days out of the year while my fellow neighbors largely ignore it. - proximity to the marina for walks, especially if you have a baby or dog, is A+. The marina is worth walking around if you are serious about renting here. - proximity to three playgrounds within walking distance if you have a kid under 6 including one, Mother's Beach, that is epic. Ultimate parenting hack. - proximity to one of the better beaches on West LA, Venice Beach, which is a 10 minute walk. - if you're a runner you have lots of A+ options and variety. - the value per sq foot beats all of the surrounding building by a mile. It's actually underpriced. - the option of having a storage facility right across the alley makes life much more tenable, especially if you have kids with lots of stuff to store. - the package / parcel system here is very good. They use lockers that notify you via text and given the fact that 8 Amazon vans per day drop off hauls to the building it's an ideal system, all things considered. - 24/7 security who roams the property who is always reachable should you need them. I never have but it's nice to know. - a FB group that is actually active and helpful if you find that sort of thing appealing. CONS: - The only real complaint of residents here is the ~8-12 AirBnB units in the complex. The guests are something of a wildcard should you end up living next to one or under one. These are not "professional" airbnbs, but rather they are in violation of the lease because Joe Renter learns that they can make $400 / night renting it out and the management company is never made aware. The complex is in the process of identifying and evicting each of these illegal renters but it's a multi-year process that takes time. 90% chance it won't impact you because they are such a tiny fraction of the overall complex but it's admittedly a slight risk. - Parking is underground which is fine. But there are some parking spaces that are quite suboptimal in their position or angle so when they show you your space during the tour really take a moment to envision how the space(s) will work for you, specifically if you have a large vehicle. If you have concerns, voice them up front and they might be able to work with you. - the washer and dryer is a cheaper model. This is a common complaint of pretty much every complex in the region. But you can upgrade it for a monthly add-on fee to a model that is slightly bigger and more modern. BOTTOM LINE: I've never once witnessed theft, crime, violence, or vandalism. It's a safe, civil society here. The people that live here are still quite upscale -- the prices sort of filter for that. Probably 15%+ of the tenants are entrepreneurs. You can't find another place within 15 miles with the amenities and proximity to beach for the $/sq ft. If you want to optimize for value and amenities this should be on everyone's short list. If you want to optimize for status then tour Neptune across the street and pay 80% more.

What a wonderful place!!! I LOVED living here. I wish I could move back. It was by far my favorite rental. It’s close to everything, it’s well maintained, staff are friendly, I felt safe in the community, neighbors were wonderful, it was quiet, … I can’t say enough good things about this place.

Go to your office manager front desk and they will explain how it works. You must live there and have key.
