Just call the Medical Examiner's Office and anyone that answers the phone can assist you. Give them the first and last name of the person and the date of death. Indicate the type of death as well if known. If it was a natural death, the person may not have been a coroner's case so we may not have any information. If the death was an accident, homicide or suicide then the Medical Examiner's Office would have invoked jurisdiction and we should have information regarding the death. It just may take a few days to research and get back to you with the information.

The deceased is transported to San Diego county coroner’s office in clairemont Mesa. The autopsy will report any findings that will be placed on the deceadants death certificate.
