Good location for family outings and recreation. Carries a facility for renting a boat for rides on the Hudson or to go out and fish.

This park was so well groom and beautiful i never seen anything like this before. It had a beach that was clean the pier was also ready to fish and dock and sail a boat. I drove in and it was parking it was also a place to walk around and view the entire park. I saw the other side of NY (long Island) over the water and it was gorgeous. I think everyone should go at least once.

Small beach, yet a beach. Water and sand, not much more. There’s plenty of areas right around the beach where one can sit on a beach chair or on the benches there. Take in the sun, watch the boats as they sail by. Please bring any snacks, water you’d like or food as there are no stores close by to buy anything.

This beach is so clean! You will surely enjoy the sun, air, and sand. The good thing it is not allowed to eat or drink on the beach, which lessens the trashes in the sea!

Since they are renovating this year you do not need the omnicard. Admission is free for everyone. Parking is $5 for residents and $10 for non residents. I am there right now!
Yes
There use to be grills in the park. I've seen people grill not sure if it's really OK. The City does have a section about Parks on it's website. You might want to check it.
I was there earlier today (from 10 to 11) and it was definitely not crowded, despite perfect beach weather. However, the beach is closed today 7/13 due to runoff nearby. You can still sunbathe on the pier though.
You better come by morning or afternoon...but it's a really nice place to photo shoot...
You have to pay for parking, New Rochelle residents $4 outsiders pay $10 yes you can swim
Sorry, I'm not sure, I will ask a few friends and let you know
No lifeguards and the beaches are locked by small gate, but that's never stopped me! 😂
Opens Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. Beach is opened weekends only in June. Starting June 25th Beach is open through Monday from 10am to 6pm, ending on September 3rd.
You need a New Rochelle Park pass.
At one point I was told you had to know a person who lives in the area or someone who owns a boat at the Dock.
If you don't have a park pass it is 10 dollars
I Really dont know .
Yes
Yes it is
Yes you bring a bike if not resident. I am not sure of cost Maybe $5.
When the lifeguards aren't present, you swim at your own risk. Do it all the time!
I haven't been there in 2 weeks and Didn't know it was contaminated. Therefore, I am not sure if the water is open today. Sorry!!!
Not sure but l have seen people doing it a couple of times.
