The room smelled like wet dog. There was a huge roach in the bed. Gnats all over the room. Blood stains (and god knows what else) on the carpet. Mold in the coffee maker. No blankets for some reason? Just sheets. I would absolutely not stay here again.

The staff was exceptionally kind but there were too few of them to handle the influx on a Thurs eve so wait time in the lobby was really long. The rooms are unlivable- not at all clean (my guess is this is not the fault of housekeeping- the carpet, fixtures & furnishings are so warn and soiled they simply don't come clean any more). The shower wouldn't drain- we checked in and checked out immediately- rooms smelled of smoke though they were both non-smoking rooms. Again, the desk staff was exceptional- they helped us get checked back out and seemed to understand that the hotel was not able to meet even our minimum expectations. They didn't try to make me feel guilty about the request, which I already did of course- really very professional and kind people. Sadly when you're traveling with kids there has to be at least basic areas like bathrooms that are clean enough to get the kids clean and it just wasn't possible.

Unfortunately, the hotel is old and needs of a total remodel. My room was in a state of disrepair, ceiling drywall was falling, carpet super old and needs new furniture. The only positive was the people working there, super nice and helpful. Corporate should visit some of the hotels to realize what needs to be done whit their properties.

Please don’t stay here if you can help it…. Well, when we first arrived at 7:05pm we were told that our room would be ready in another hour because they only had one house keeper to clean the rooms. We booked the hotel way before check in time and still had to wait after traveling for hours to our destination. Then, we finally make it to our room and start taking a shower to go out…. There were huge, dirty underwear hanging on the back of the door. I understand mistakes happen but come on now…that is nasty. Last but not least the bathroom is horrible. Mold all around the tub and ceiling. The tub was stopped up when we ran the shower, lost story short we ended up leaving early because the room was so nasty. The hotel is in a GREAT location but they need new management and to remodel this hotel.
