My car has been broken into 2 times in the same week and I’ve had 3 cards stolen. Would really love for management to get better security so that tenants can be better protected. Cant always remember to bring every important item in and for the amount we pay we shouldn’t have to go to bed worrying if our property will be okay in the morning.

I reviewed my review for this property and I was totally mistaken for another Apt complex up the road. I apologize for my confusion. This place is actually nice, with pleasant landscaping and the place overall looks nice. I haven't seen inside these Apts so can't give a full review. I was just making a package delivery when I encountered this place. When I'm wrong I always correct my error.

DO NOT LIVE HERE, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! High crime rate in the area, constant vehicle break ins, terrible manager and the floors in the units and the building itself are extremely old!!! 1.) The "manager" Bree is not efficient and does not talk to tenants in a professional manner. She will gossip about your business with other tenants and did not take me serious when I addressed her with my concerns in my apartment. The office phone rarely gets answered and you will never receive a call back from her even if you leave her a message. The office closes at odd hours during the day which makes it inconvenient if you need to go by but have your own work schedule. I tried to contact the upper management above her to complain but she said I couldn't because "they don't work in Albuquerque" so I had to look them up on Google and they won't even call you back or reply to any emails you send them so any help you need from a manager is non-existent. 2.) The floors creak and make noise every step you walk in your own home. It doesn't matter if you live upstairs or downstairs, you will also be able to hear every step your neighbor takes along with every conversation they have in their own home!! I would hear every time and very clearly when my neighbor coughed or sneezed and my TV had the volume all the way up. 3.) Parking is a nightmare to find a spot and very limited, even during the day all the spots will be filled up and you will have to park at the far end of the property and it makes you feel unsafe when by yourself at night. It doesn't help either when they are constant vehicle break ins going on and even my neighbor had her apartment broken into. There are also no security services offered so for your money's worth your better off going to a place that does offer security. 4.) Maintenance could be improved, they have the same guy working who has been here since I moved in and no major problems but repairs don't get fixed correctly because they avoid replacing things to save their money. Maintenance guy has "fixed" the same issue in my unit 5 times now and it still is an issue and clearly needs to be replaced but he told me he won't do it. Also there is only one maintenance guy even though its a small property, you will be left waiting a week or more for one simple work order because "he is busy or working at another property". 5.) The air conditioning units are weak and hardly work. My apartment felt like it was over 100 degrees in the hot summer and when I let the manager know she insisted nothing was wrong with it and never contacted a professional as promised. I was very miserable and hot all day during the summer and would even stay out to avoid going home. My lease will be ending in a couple of months and I can not wait to pay my last month of rent and put my notice in. This is probably the most run-down and dreadful apartment community I ever lived in and I will not miss this place.

We have lived here for 6 years and this complex has gone down hill since the new management took over last year, I totally agree with the opinion net below. We had to move out because the manager Laura, who bearly is in the property, told me to move out if I don't like how she does. She said it is my job to call police because she doesn't live there when I mentioned about drug dealing activities at night.

#1) What Year Was CandelWood Village Built in & How Old is The Building? #2) How Much is The Rent Per Month? #3) Does The Building have Stairs & An Elevator inside? #4) Does CandelWood Village Have Access To The Internet? Or is There Wi-Fi?

I believe the apartments were built in the 80's. Depending on how many bed/bath apartment you rent. 2 bed/bath is $887/mo. BEWARE of hidden costs. No elevator. Stairs are outside of the buildings. You have to purchase your own internet/wifi.
