I love Star City Recycling they Recycle a ton more then my trash company. Glass being one. Not only do the Recycle I found that they upcycle. They have their flaws but perfect doesn't exist. I highly recommend this company.

I visited Star City recycling for the first time today and was greatly impressed. The staff we're friendly and professional, and the manager/owner was very helpful explaining how things worked and what they could recycle. He even took my plastic bottles with my aluminum recycling and an old big flat screen TV that I needed to get rid of since it was broke. Highly recommend and I will definitely go back.

We've only ever dropped off. But you can drop off 24/7. Thanks goodness for this company! Even take appliances and electronics. When we drop off during work hours they help unload and are the NICEST people. 6 stars would be better!

After doing well for awhile picking up the recycling they stopped picking it up on time and where in fact a few days late. I am a disabled person living in an apartment and I couldn't just have the recycling sitting out there and had to have someone throw it away twice.

Some caps are different type of plastic (or metal) than the main container which requires separation. Sometimes that means a real person has to unscrew the cap. Imagine a job where you spent all day taking the caps off of containers. Personally I would NOT leave caps on any container. Call your recycler for their preference. While much CAN be recycled, IMO, what you are trying to achieve is making it easier for the recycling service. Some services have gone out of business because the market for the recycled products can no longer justify the labor (and other) costs of operating a business. Like any business, they must make a profit. Labor costs are only a portion of their business costs.
It changes daily, feel free to call us at (402) 890-4320 for the current day's amount or stop by.
If you still have the anvil and are trying to get rid of it I will be willing to pay you to pick it up.
No one can recycle dirty materials. It's actually why China stopped buying our recycling. If you don't want to wash the cottage cheese out of the container, then just throw it away because that's the recycling plant will have to do with it after it's all gross and moldy.
I'm fairly sure that this company does not pay customers for recyclables. I believe it is predominantly, if not solely consumer paid recycling service in which the customer pays for the removal of recyclables
