Over the last 3 days a salesperson has knocked, leaned on my doorbell 5 times. Rang the doorbell over and over, opened my storm door and knocked on the main door. Very alarming since I didn't know who they were. Finally on the 3rd day they left a business card. Very pushy. Next time may I suggest you leave the business card the first time you knock, if I don't call you, then I am not interested. With all of the gun violence all over the US right now, answering the door to someone I don't know is not something I would do. Me saying "pushy" means knocking repeatedly, ringing the doorbell over and over per visit. I am disappointed by your response. No I won't ever be using your service.

Bought a new house and set up service with them thinking they were used by previous tenants. Find out they weren’t as capital city was so I decided to use them and just keep the same cans. I let husker refuse know on a Monday and they acknowledged my email, yet still dropped a trash can off for me on Wednesday. Told them to pick it up, 2 weeks later and it’s still sitting here. After emailing them to pick it up they tell me a set day and still don’t show to pick it up. Edit: you responded to my email Monday at 8 am and dropped the cam off weds at 7 pm. Almost 3 days to cancel an order. Your company needs better communication.

Ever since they bought out the previous company for recycling services I have not had my recycle picked up. Have called a couple times, they assure me they will pick up the previous company's bins, or that they will come back to pick it up when they missed it. At this point they can pick up the bin and cancel my free service through my employer because I'm sick of looking at it. There is ample street parking in my area so that's the only reason I can think that they would miss it.

I've been using husker for over a year now. They didn't pick up a couple times, but that's my fault, as I didn't put out the trash the night before. I called and they could pick up for a small fee the next day. Trash can ended up with a hole in it and they replaced within a couple days! All and all, they are excellent to do business with! Set up auto pay and haven't had to worry about a thing since! Thanks guys! Justin

I was told there was no contract but did sign one. Was told there was no cancellation fee. Basically the sales person lied about everything.
They compost very well!
All plastics, cardboard, and cans. Please no glass. Thankyou
Thank you for contacting us. We do have a new billing system so financial information will need to be updated. We sent calls to customers that needed to update the information. That is the most likely reason. I would not be able to let you know 100% with out looking into your account. Please email us or give us a call. We would be happy to look into it for you.
Hello Mary, I apologize for the delay - one of our office staff will be in touch with you shortly. With yard waste you can have 10 of those brown, biodegradable bags in addition to your can every week with no additional charge. The maximum amount of bags per week is 10. Thank you for getting in touch with us, and we look forward to servicing your yard waste.
Hello Thomas, We are able to pick up branches for all of our customers so long as they are properly prepared for our drivers. We ask that all branches that are thicker in diameter than an inch, or about the size of your thumb, are cut into lengths no longer than 4 feet, and bundled with string, rope, or twine in sections no wider than 2 feet. They can also be contained in a personal can. All branches must be no thicker in diameter than 4 inches - anything that large will need to be split down. Anything smaller than an inch or more twig like does need to go with the yard wast truck - so that is something that can go directly into your yard waste can, or those brown biodegradable bags. If you do not have the full yard waste service, that can be scheduled with our office for pickup. We appreciate heads up at least 1 business day prior to your regular trash day. Thank you for your excellent question!
No. They advertised as though they did but later changed their policy, claiming it was not their fault, but they could no longer accept glass.
