I needed to get 2 physicals for my son and I for scout camp. This Urgent Care facility took walk ins and had a high rating. We got checked in quickly without issues and they got us back fast and filled out the forms we needed for the physicals. La doctora was very professional and had great people skills. I would use this location's services again. My only criticism of this location is that my health insurance benefits provide for a physical every year for each of my covered family members but the location (by policy?) doesn't even try to run them through insurance. I paid out of pocket and will try to get these reimbursed directly.

The receptionist here was incredibly rude to multiple patients I observed checking in and calling on the phone while I was waiting for my turn to be seen. I came in and told her I had an appointment, as I used the online system the day before to make it, and she checked me in for the appointment. I waited for about 45 mins after the appointment time until I tried to calmly ask her if she knew about how long until I would be seen (very calmly and politely because I knew she was already on edge having heard her scream on the phone and at other patients in the lobby), and she blew up at me saying I never had an appointment and that the online system isn't an appointment, just a spot in line? She had no idea how long until I'd be seen and said there were at least 3 other people waiting ahead of me who did not have appointments. I did not have a drastic emergency but thought that reserving a time online meant I wouldn't have to wait hours in line, but I decided after this behavior and the nurse rolling her eyes at me for also calmly asking how long have people been waiting to just leave and wait a few days to see my PCP instead. Don't come here unless you have no other choice. The receptionists and nurses seem very stressed and overworked and you will not get kind care if you come here.

Whoever is in charge of answering the phone needs to be fired. I never had someone so rudely ask why I needed something done and why I couldn't get something else done instead. She then gives me a BS price estimate instead of actually looking it up. UPDATE: Seems a lot of the reviews are about rude receptionists and bad customer service, yet AFC refuses to address the issue. Instead the "owner" opts to provide lame excuses. I also tried to email them at the email posted online and it doesn't even exist.

We are residents of Malden for over 6 years now and this urgent care had some of the best service. Not anymore though and it’s such a disappointment. The receptionist does not show any sense of empathy or compassion. Their timings say they’re open till 8pm but we went in at 415pm on a weekday and were turned away saying they weren’t taking in any more patients. We’re mindful that we’re in a midst of a pandemic and the staff is stretched thin but just the tone of sending someone away says a lot.Hope someone takes action if their intent is to be a resource for the community.

We have MD's on the schedule about 80% of the time. I have an NP alongside my Medical director on Tuesdays and Thursdays.I have doctors on Mondays Thursdays and Fridays. I have a couple of very strong PA's that cover some weekend and sporadic shifts during the week. All PA's and NP's work under the direct supervision of my medical Director.
