(Original review) Crooks. Picked up several large packages from my house (the service I paid for) <note that this is my first time using this service>, and one of the very expensive packages wasn't scanned in by the driver. It is "lost," and UPS is doing "an investigation" which I am sure will bring to nothingness. I called UPS multiple times and every time I call it's like a brand new time. They take my info down and there are no previous notes in the system about the case. I am a single mom and don't have $500 laying around to waste on these crooks. Not even mentioning the high stress and time wasted with that. So did the driver just take the package because he really liked the item????? Is that what UPS now does??!! (Updated review) the driver is NOT a crook. Sorry for calling him that. But he didn’t follow a usual protocol of scanning a label as soon as he picks up a package. This cost me weeks of sleepless nights, so much stress, endless hours on the phone w various customer services….Definitely not worth to have your package to be picked up from your house, unless you’re present at the pick up and make sure he/she scans it. Lesson learned.

Got a notice they tried to deliver my package and no one was home?? Called to ask if I could just pick it up as I needed the package today. Could not reach a human anywhere. On their site I had to pay $8 to have them hold the package for me! Well after taking my money I heard nothing. Called and got the "they will contact you within the hour". Lies. I needed my package today, payed money, and still forgotten. Absolutely hate UPS and their lack of customer service. If this review gets the canned response of "hit up our DMs on socials bro" It proves they give zero care about their customers needs.

Had a package that can't be in the cold for too long, they had it sitting in the truck in the middle of winter for 3 days. Delivery continued to get delayed and when the driver finally arrived, they sat outside my house for ten minutes then left. I was unable to contact anyone or doing anything about it.

Did not appreciate having no phone number to the UPS secondary location for package pickup; I've in an apartment building and was not home when UPS made their initial delivery attempt, so my package was delivered to a store on S Salina st. No problem. However the problem arose when I had no phone number to reach the store to find out if my package was there. Had to actually go to the place on a hope

On UPS website you can select different options for delivery of your package. Make sure you have your tracking information handy. Then you can "intercept" a package and have the delivery locarion changed or held.

Yes, as long as you have the package information. They will need time to find the package. Your best bet is to call before you go there to make sure the package isn't on a truck.

Rep for what? There would be a driver for deliveries and pickups. For large accounts more information is needed.
So call UPS. Google doesn't care.
Unfortunately there are sometimes unforeseen circumstances that can delay delivery....mostly the weather.

Go in person..they should do printout of package showing where it was sent. It happened to me. Error on sorting UPS..my friend paid almost $50 for overnight..their errir..we had correct address but sorter slapped a different label on.. we're still waiting for refund.

Call them, but sometimes, a note indicating your wishes WITH your signature will suffice. It depends on what the shipper will allow.
