8/16/22 Arrowhead is in the worst shape I've ever seen in 30 years. The tee boxes are half dead and the fairways are worse. They have their own water for the irrigation, but don't use it. The fairways are dirt and cracked. Somehow the greens are watered but not the rest of the course. The rough is somewhat alive and green with clover. Overall just sad for a course that was immaculate when the father ran it. I realize it doesn't rain as much as usual, but as I said they have plenty of water on course. Not going to waste my $ there. I played free tonight as a league sub.

Very sad to hear we weren't allowed to play 18 holes despite the fact we had 4 1/4 hours till sunset. The round would have been done at least 45 minutes before sunset. I'd suggest you call ahead if it's an afternoon start so you're not as disappointed as we were.

My dad and I played the west course last Sunday. The 1st hole, a 230 yard par 4, I hit my first shot, a 3 hybrid to about 2 feet from the hole, almost a double eagle. Made the putt for eagle. The course was okay, some fairways were bare, not much grass, otherwise, it was nice to get out, as we hadn't played in over a month.

Great staff, super easy to get on the course. Also, they have a separate 9 from the main course so you can switch it up a little when wanting to only play 9 holes.
