Amazing people. Amazing facility. Martha checked us in when we arrived. She was friendly, professionally, and efficient. I can't remember the name of the gentleman that introduced us to all the dogs, but he was fantastic as well. The facility is incredible. I've never seen or heard of a place set up so well for the welfare of dogs waiting for homes. Everyone is not just taken care of, but cared for. Each dog gets what they need to be healthy and happy be it vet care, training, or rehabilitation. They are also 100 percent up front about a dog's health, energy level, house training, whether they're good for a home with children, other dogs, cats, etc. Once we found our new family member, the adoption process was handled fantastically. We waited probably less than 10 minutes while they got our dog ready to go and the care package together. We waited in the entrance/lobby with Martha who was so nice and helpful while we waited. One of their trainers, Rob, who had worked with the dog we took home, gave us all the background on her behavior and training to date. The care package included a starter sized bag of dog food, treats, coupons, and all the information we needed about our puppy in an info packet. All the information was also explained to us by another person who answered any questions. We were given the option to and added a new collar and leash for $18. We've had our new puppy for about 6 days and she is healthy and thriving with only good and happy surprises. I've had dogs my whole life and never seen a place that honors dogs for how fantastic they are or that does such a thorough job making sure each dog gets the right environment in their new home and prepares the people on how to take care of that specific dog. I hope it's a long, LONG time from now, but I would definitely be back to find another furever friend.

Visited earlier today as a walk in. Very nice facilities, but a very strange process. The person who helped us guided us to see the cats, but we were not allowed to hold them or sit in a room with them until we submitted an application. After about 2 minutes he rushed us out to the lobby, where we submitted an application. In the application we were asked which cat we were interested in, but that is very difficult just looking at them through a cage for less than 3 minutes. After being “approved”, they allowed us into a room with two kittens. We played with them a total of another 2 minutes before being rushed out again because we did not bring all of our vet records with us (they have different vets currently). The person who was helping us said “they would be annoyed if they had to call 3 different vets” followed by him rushing us out. Response to the owner's message: We could have provided numbers for the other 2 vets while we were there, but we were told that was "too annoying". It is hard to get invested in an animal when you are only allowed to see them briefly and are rushed the entire time. It feels counterproductive to finding the animals homes. I have adopted all three of my current animals from the Humane Society and this is the only time I felt like I was a burden for wanting to adopt a pet.

Adopted our boy Marine from there ended up changing his name to Ammo. But the experience was amazing and we are so happy to have Ammo in our family. Thank you for everyone at Honor for taking such good care of our boy before he met his forever family. 🥰

Rob & Chelsea were fantastic. I brought home Bubbles, a 2 month old puppy 🐶! We're so pleased. A great facility doing great rescue work! Highly recommended!!!!

Have your daughter call the rescues in her area. Hopefully one of them can help her find a suitable new home for the dogs....whether foster or permanent.
You and your dog could go through some training first. So many dogs get put down each day. If it's a puppy he or she will grow out of it.
Honor only takes towels, sheets and fleece bedding.
I don't see why they won't take them, but I'd call just to make sure. Or if you're in the neighborhood stop in and ask them.
Yes
I am not sure how that works you may call them I'm sure they will talk to you about volunteering.
You should be able to check on their website to see what they currently have available
Sorry, I cannot speak Spaniah and don't understand the question.
Yes, they do. Visit their website to ser available dogs, puppies and cats.
They are part of our Camper program with Manatee County Animal Services. They are still their dogs. We charge what ever fee they have at the time. The adopters still have to go through our approval process.
I believe they are currently full, but a great place.
No appointment is necessary. We do ask that you complete an adoption application and be pre-approved prior to coming in. We are open for adoption Wednesday - Saturday, 11:00 - 4:00. All of the animals available can be seen on our website.
Not now. Thanks.
We rescued a pit bull mix from Nates HAR so I'm pretty sure they take them.
Yes, there are very few "kill" shelters in South West Florida. None that advertise at least.
Honor is not an animal shelter. You should call first to see if they have room for him. Manatee county humane society is a no kill shelter and they will take him. Both places will require a surrender fee. If he isn't neutered, that will help to calm him down.
It ranges for puppies it's more. I got my 1-1/2 year old dog for 250
I don't know what that means
Probably through the gage and only on the tamer ones.
Are you resolved on getting rid of your pet? You could probably work through your pets issues with some training. Both you and your 4 legged family member.
Laura, as hard as it will be she is looking to surrender.
I don't know o just visited. Was looking for a cat to adopt us. None did . Beautiful place .
Yes they do. Call them
They only have cats for adoption at the Cooper Creek location.
I have only seen dogs and cats.
The dogs they have come to them as they are rescued. Your best bet would be to visit or call daily.
