Very satisfied with the services. Doctor was very nice and so we're the ladies at the desk. Best of all my timid girl was very comfortable with them. Pricing is fair and they except care credit!

Had a sick stray and took him there. They referred us , with a voucher, to the county shelter. Everyone at both places were wonderful. The cat is getting better and be returñed in about a week.

Hello! I recently became aware that one can purchase your pets flea meds and heartworm medications from your local Humane Society, for a much better price. One flea pill is $17 for Bravecto. They also have the 3 month pill for $44. When you have 2 or more pets, this certainly helps. My local Humane Society has also started a skin clinic. Meaning on a certain day, their Vet is in to look at your pets hot spots or skin rashes. Also, the Vet visit is only $40. The pricing is alicart, after that. You can purchase meds right from them, at check out. Support your local Humane society. I'm quite happy, I did. One last thing, have your pet Mirco chipped for $21 from Home Again program. They do it right there.. Once chipped, go online and register said pet from Home Again program for $21.99 a year. Just a happy experience, all the way around. 😊😀 Thanks for reading.

I found a wonderful cat and opted to do the sleepover program which is $30 subtracted from the $75 adoption fee. When the adoption center called me after after the 5 day sleepover program, i was at work and was unable to answer the phone. They immediately called my emergency contact. I called when I was done working and had some concerns about the cats health and spoke with the adoption center to set up an appointment to have him visit the vet. At this time I was told I would not pay the remaining $55 until after the vet visit. This morning I brought him to the vet and when he was picked up, they told me there would be no charges at this time. The adoption center then called my emergency contact a few hours later claiming that they tried to call me today, which they did not, and that I had not paid for the remaining $55 and that I needed to go to the adoption center and pay it immediately. My emergency contact explained that I was at work and that I was told there were no fees to be paid when I picked up my cat. They then had my emergency contact pay the remaining $55 and were very rude to her over the phone. The phone got disconnected and the adoption center called my emergency contact back. When they didn’t realize she was listening the woman on the phone said “I have to keep harassing people to get them to pay”. I am very pleased with my cat but extremely unhappy with the level of service at this location. There is absolutely no reason they should be calling emergency contacts after 1 missed call and there is no reason they should be harassing people over the phone. I went to this adoption center to get my second cat but the service I received at cat depot was far more exceptional than this and they are much kinder. Note that the vet and adoption center are separate buildings and the people at the the veterinary center are so kind and thorough. My only issue was the front desk at the adoption center.

We are open to the public. While we do have special spay/neuter pricing for low income families, it is not a requirement. We generally have other grant money for spay/neuter for others. Call us to schedule the appointment. You can also go on our website to select a date. Go to the Veterinary clinic tab. Hope to see you soon!
They have a program, basically catch and release. You bring the cats in, fill out some paperwork, they fix them and then you come pick them up the next day. They only do this for fereos on certain days, so make sure you call yo find out the specific day. Which I think is on Tuesdays.
Yes we take toys and beds etc but no medications or medical supplies.
You can view our prices for all of our services on our website. We have grants available for Free spay or neuter, along with discounted vaccine prices. Our basic vaccine packages for your dog that is already fixed start at $66; cat packages for already fixed cats start at $51.00.
They do both, emergency right away, they are really good abt appointments if they r not busy u can walk in.
Go on line to our website and complete the volunteer request form. The Volunteer Coordinator will contact you to discuss The possibilities
Yes I believe you can get it from the shelter.
There isn't a sliding scale fee for any vaccines. The cost of a rabies vaccine if $18.00, plus the $18.00 basic exam if your pet is already fixed. The cost of a Manatee County Tag, if you purchase it from us, is $20.00. If your pet isn't already fixed, you can add the rabies vaccine to the surgery day and the basic exam is already included in that service. Terri
Not sure you would have to call, but I do know that if your disabled or receive food stamp's or medicaid they will do it for free. Have to call and make an appointment
I would try keeping them all in the same room, supervised of course, try to let them get to know each other
You can get an appointment there, pay what you can $10.. or ask when😎
No
Yes and their fees are reasonable. Calling ahead is recommended
They do have somethings free but not the adoptions but is not to expensive.
Yes you can purchase Flea meds from us. If your pet is not a patient of ours you can either order Vectra from our website or stop in the clinic to purchase. If your pet is a patient of ours you can purchase any flea med from our site or stop in the clinic. Your exam with us must be current (within the last year) to qualify for any oral flea meds.
I think the Humane Society is just for wellness, vaccines, medications and neuter/spay. I would try taking the collar off to see if it clears up. Then find a vet that you like for illness and possible emergencies in the future.
With that many dogs, it would be a good idea to learn to clip their nails yourself. It’s easy.
I think you can get cages from them to trap& get them spayed or neutered for free. Call & leave a message for them.
Not sure what type of evaluation you need for your dog. Give us a call to discuss your needs. We have a basic vaccine package that is $75, which is everything you would need for a Wellness appointment. If your dog needs medical treatment for any other issue, you need to discuss that with a Customer Service Representative for additional quotes and information.
The Humane Society of Manatee County does not take in rabbits. The Humane Society of Tampa Bay does have an adoption program for rabbits.
Staff is probably busy with the dogs and cats
14 weeks and then first year
Check in for Free Roaming cats in a humane trap is Monday between 10 am and 3 pm. Surgery is typically done on Tuesdays and we will call you about pick up on Wednesday. I assume that you are willing to take them all back to your location and release them. If you are looking to surrender the mom and kittens, you need to make an appointment with our shelter. They are open on Tuesday.
Call and ask about disabled dogs and availability of any. Good luck
Make sure you call ahead to ensure medical staff, space and supplies are available. If there is no availability, look up MCAS. They always take drop-offs.
Make an appointment with a local veterinarian. This is highly contagious to humans so it’s not something that should go untreated. Unfortunately we do not have any appointments available at this time.
Go to our website www.humanemanatee.org. Click on the clinic tab and then Click on Wellness for prices. A complete basic dog package is $75
Prices vary depending upon the age and situation of the cats living circumstances - indoor, indoor/outdoor, etc. Our prices are listed on our website. We have some grants available for spaying or neutering your cat/kitten, which would also pay for the initial basic exam and the surgery could be free. Call us at 941-747-8808 option 1 or go directly to our website where you can schedule the spay/neuter on a date convenient for you.
Stick with your commitment you made to adopt it. man.ctry even helps with good you need for your pet. Discount medical procedure at 1/3 the average fee's
No, call ahead. You will take a space, message a phone number, and tell them what your space number is. They will come out with a basic receipt, take your CC inside and run it, then bring out the meds, the card, and the receipt.
they may accept it, they do take donations you can call them and then press extension 313
Take the puppy to the Humane Society and or Bishop Animal Shelter to find a good home. GOOD LUCK GOD BLESS
If they don't, Bishops Animal Shelter has taken in bunnies.
Oh so they are just closed to the public? Gotcha. I'm so paranoid. That's such a dumb question but I have seen such bad things before ya know. Thank you!
Pricing depends upon age of the kitten you pick. Stop by and check out our furry felines. ^..^ You will be glad you did!
Absolutely the bath towels. We don’t use many wash clothes.
Go to the Humane Society today again. We are closed for lunch from 12-1 so ideally you should take him now.
Fees vary by breed, size, age, etc. Stop by our shelter to meet the animals waiting for their furever second chance. All animals are spayed or neutered & current on vaccines.
Rick great question..give them a call and they will help you on your situation... hope you get back on track soon.....
All services are by appointment only. We do have walk in vaccine clinic the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month from 9am to 1 pm. Spay/Neuter, skin condition appointments, etc., vaccines (if you choose not to come to our walk in days) are all by appointment.
@peggy. Not sure what services you need, but free spay/neuter services for food stamps recipients or our basic dog vaccine package is only $66, which includes a rabies vaccine, a Distemper/Parvo vaccine, a basic exam and a heart worm test, for an already sterilized dog. We have other services like dentals that are deeply discounted, as well. Give us a call or stop by with any questions you may have.
Our charge for that service is $125 unless we have been treating the pet for any illnesses. This price is for senior diagnostics to assess the condition of the animal.
Trapper Tuesday cats can be checked in all day Monday and up until 8:30 am on Tuesday. Generally they are ready to go back home from on Wednesday’s. They must be in a humane trap and are not accepted in carriers.
If you're going to have your pet spayed or neutered then you need to have an appointment. I don't know about whether you need one for shots or other services.
Not sure, I reccomend that you call them.
No, sorry, this isn’t a service we offer.
Basic exam with shots at full price was only like 61 bucks for mine. This included exam of dog, deworming treatment ( even tho she didn't have worms lol) heartworm check and rabies shot. They will keep a file on record and will be able to get you heartworm and/flea meds for dirt cheap (when compared to 1800 pet meds or PetSmart). I absolutely loved our experience (great vet!)
Maybe Bishop. I don't recall seeing any birds at the Humane Society. You may want to Google Bird Adoption also. There has to something out there. I just looked and we have a bird sanctuary in Bradenton. You can adopt birds there
Do you need appointment to see vet on days other than Monday
Call the shelter on Monday
Absolutely. But please do not leave them before they are open. They are closed on Sunday and Monday I think.
I don't believe they do, but i would call to double check before disposing of it. The reason why I don't think they take it is because someone may of contaminated it. You can call Animal Services also and ask them if they will except it
Yes
Yes, you can. Call 941-747-8808. At the prompt, dial extension 307 and leave a message.
No
Contact Manatee County Animal Services 941-742-5933. They are a great group of people and will certainly investigate.
About 45 to 70 dollars
Come see what we have that may meet your needs.
I think you don't need an appointment.
Not sure, but they have a reasonable package deal for the basic needs
It depends upon how many vaccines your puppy already has had. Our office visits are $18, a Rabies vaccine is $18, a Distemper/Parvo/ Lepto vaccine is $23. It's also time for him to have a heart worm test, which is $15. We carry various types of heart worm prevention for you to choose from. If your puppy is not yet fixed, we encourage you to start with the surgery appointment and you will receive a discount if you are on any type of financial assistance such as Food Stamps, Medicaid, WIC, Etc. Please call us at 941-747-8808, Option 1 to speak with a client services representative. Thank you for choosing us!
Yes they do need volunteers! I was there the other day and they were asking for volunteers.
Most likely less than $30, although you can check their prices on their website.
Can you call us at the clinic to discuss? 941-747-8808 Option 1 to speak to a customer service representative. An exam to determine the health of the cat will be initially required prior to euthanasia. By calling us we will be able to initially determine how we can help.
Yes, they do and are booked about a month out. Kindness Animal and the Beach vet in Cortez both have a coupon for a free first visit on their websites if your pet needs to be seen right away. Right now the Bradenton Humane Society is extremely busy with their shot clinic and spay and neuter programs. They do not take walk-ins and emergencies are referred to other veterinary clinics as they currently not equipped to handle them. Hopefully, as time goes on, they will be able to do this. However, they can only grow with the help of community support and generous donations..s
You can stop by our clinic to discuss your needs for help. We are open Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm and Saturdays 8 am to 4:30 pm.
Dario, I don't know if there is a fee, I do know it would be worth paying it to know the dog is safe...There is also manatee county animal services, Nate honore sanctuary and Bishops. The only reason I mention other places is incase Humane society is full.I realize it is frustrating to find a safe place, but too many dogs are abandoned when an owner can't find a place, so I wanted to reach out to you and give you some options...good luck to you in finding a forever home for your dog...be well
The humane society does not come pick up animals.you can call and make an appointment to surrender small pets at the humane society or Bishop animal shelter. Petco also sometimes takes pocket pets like rats and hamsters.
Honey, call them and they will answer all your questions, good luck😍
That's mean. Maybe the Humane Society will take her.
They never euthanize them unless they are really ill
Most places won't hire until you 18
I'm not sure; I do. know that they charge the lowest amount in town . Also there prices for bully dogs like pit bulls and also for people on public assistance , like food stamps. Please call them at 941- 747- 8808 follow the prompts and press one, then follow the prompts to reach someone who can answer you questions. If they are very busy, the system will prompt you to leave a message with your name and phone number. They will return your call as quickly as time allows. . different9
Yes, they will accept it, just fill them in on the story and all should be well.
We never know the capacity of our shelter from day to day. When the kittens are 8 weeks old, you can go to the shelter to discuss space. Also, please do not allow the mothers to go outside after they have had their kittens as they risk getting pregnant quickly again. As soon as they are finished nursing, we will be able to fix them and generally have free spay services so it will be affordable for you.
This is not the Humane Society answering your questions if you want an answer from them you have to call or email them
Call & they can set up appointment.
Yes, call animal control
Just bring him to the shelter. Hope you wouldn't do that to your child. Just saying
I believe you only have to be 13, good way to help and get extra credit💕
I think it costs about $75 but that includes all vaccinations and microchipping.
They are hard to get ahold of on the phone i take my dog there better to email they answer quick
Honey you need to call and speak to them. He may have neurological problems from the seizure. My heart breaks for you but remember to do the loving thing.. good luck
Call The Humane Society. That cat needs to be spayed and the babies need to be taken care of.
Was thinking they can treat it and bring it bk and ill continue to feed mr uglys outside lol
There's more
Call and explain, sure they will help
Some of the animals could have allergies. It's a nice thought but I wouldn't. 😊
Yes they can probably take them
