Went to see the doctor who gave me a prescription for an antibiotic I had never taken before. I had a minor allergic reaction to it and called to get the doctor to call me in a different antibiotic. The doctor refused to call in a different prescription, saying I had to come in again and pay another copay to get a new prescription. They wouldn't even let me speak to the doctor on the phone to explain my situation without paying another copay. What ever happened to do no harm? So now I still have an infection and no antibiotics but I will not go back to them. I will not give CityMD another dime of my money EVER. This place is a scam and only cares about making as much money from you as they can.

If i'm ever in need to get looked at immediately I don't hesitate to come to this cityMD. Everyone is wonderful from the moment I come in until the moment I leave. The people working at the front desk, the medical team members, the techs, etc. Thank you all for being attentive, kind and compassionate.

I came in on March 22 for a urine test. The provider told me that I would receive my results in 3-5 business days but I still have not received anything. On top of that, he prescribed me antibiotics (strong + made me very nauseous) before even receiving/reviewing my results. I reached out to CityMD several times regarding my results and was told yesterday that the type of urine test I did takes 10 business days. Don’t waste your time here.

Totally different experience, I don’t do reviews but this would not be fair for the Astoria Community; the provider was more concerned about protecting his license than putting all the pieces together. He sent me to the ER , turned out everything was ok with me. The technician at Urgent Care did not know what she was doing, did EKG twice and that added to my anxiety.The provider kept mentioning my age and family history which are important risk factors but not enough to make an accurate diagnosis, he did not allow me to elaborate more on my history because he was fixated on my age and BP that kept going up every time he mentioned my age and family history, These providers are providing only care for themselves, they don’t assess the patient in a holistic way. It is really sad that the quality of this place is trending down. Please make an appointment with your doctor instead of waisting your time or go to the ER where they are more equipped to provide a compassionate care.
