Simple hike with amazing views of the ocean and the golden gate bridge. Beware of the crazy wind!

One of the most amazing trails in SF. You'll have the view of sea, the bridge and beautiful jungles.

If you've got time for only one hike in San Francisco it should be this one for the diversity of vegetation, landscape and extraordinary views of the Golden Gate and Marin County. There are also stunning views of Baker Beach and Marshall's Beach that on a clear day are truly amazing. You can start at the parking lot off Merchant Road near Marshall's Beach and walk to the endpoint on Lincoln Boulevard, or if you set out early in the morning there are a few parking spaces at the Lincoln Boulevard end. Do not under any circumstances leave ANYTHING of value in your car due to frequent break-ins!!
