After a disastrous stay at another facility, I really appreciate the attention and care here at Silver Lake. Most staff are very dedicated and attentive making this place a very healing atmosphere for short term rehab. Right now, most facilities, including hospitals are suffering the results of Covid, but Silver Lake is, hands down, better than the other facilities I’ve been in.

Silver Lake is great place that is able to make miracles. My mom was Silver Lake patient for recovery after broken hip surgery. We we impressed by great caring personnel in Rehab Center. The nurses were very knowledgeable, caring, responsible, Administrative personnel was professional and ready to help. Special thanks to Physical Therapy Department who is really able to make miracles and my mom left the facility walking by herself. Thank you very much!

My great grandmother stayed here for a few years and the staff was always warm,accommodating and friendly. My great gram is not fluent in English but was always tried to be understood by staff and when she was not a translator was always provided. Silver lake is a place where the staff becomes like family to the patient. My family member was always treated with respect and love and even when she went home she would always wonder how everyone at silver lake was getting along.

The staff in 3B are the most caring people. Pam in recreation is amazing. All nursing homes are the same. Silver Lake has caring, friendly staff. Since it is small you can get to know everybody. None of the day rooms across the five boroughs are fun to be in but in SL they will take them outside or to recreation. It isnt the most gorgeous but the care is great.
