Why this place closes at 4 on the weekends and how they get away with it is hard to fathom. Lazy.

This is my first pandemic review and only because I am deeply disappoibted wirh YMCA. So disgusted right now that Y is very anti-family with its very limited options for 2+ adults in the same household; senior membership is also ridiculously set at age 67. And to think that membership, said a fellow member, is way down..

Maybe the best Y in the city. Lots of space. I love the Y because of their prices though. They have low income options for me and my girlfriend who are currently students. Makes a gym membership affordable. I really appreciate the organization. The staff is great too. Good people.

Reasonably good facilities and mostly nice staff. There are a few people who work or volunteer there who seem to lack social skills and basic common sense, but managers generally seem responsive. The pool is nice but the locker rooms at the pool are ancient and small. The men’s sauna is like a broom closet. The main facility is quite nice and everything is well-maintained. For the price, in SF, it’s a good deal.

We offer kids swim teams. The Orcas are our youth swim team. You can call us to learn more.
Hello Kate, thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately City/County officials have not allowed indoor swimming pools to open. The Main Post facility is open for indoor and outdoor classes. You can check schedules and available programs here https://www.ymcasf.org/locations/presidio-community-ymca/visiting-presidio.
